Chapter Seven

i put some aspirin in the water next morning. Mum Shirley and I had hangovers. i felt bad not awful mainly because i drank loads of water before going to bed.

"How many eggs to you want Ti" Dad shouted i winced he slammed stuff making my head worse. he then turn the radio on.

"Turn it off!" Shirley shouted

"Turn it Down" Mum complained

"Smash the bugger" i grumbled

"finally my three best birds all agreeing" he turned to the cupboard. "Tina! we're Tina" he asked us.

"pulled last night. she said she'll be back in the morning" i rubbed my head before downing my drink Johnny entered in the kitchen in a suit

"who died" Shirley asked

"no err....its Nancy's wedding" Mum put her cup down and looked at my twin. both of us sharing a shocked look.

"what?!" Mum shouted i groaned leaning in my chair. Dad moved to behind me.

"no secrets" Mum started

"what is that what he said" Shirley smiled

"that has always been the deal what exactly has changed here" she asked

"Mum don't shout" i complained

"for a woman with a hangover you are shouting double..." but he was cut off

"I'll tell you hear it is her. One of my daughters is getting married and you told your sister and not your own wife, have a look at yourself Mick" i stood up and went to hug dad my head hurt really bad he wrapped his arms around me.

"Linda" Dad started

"i said this weren't gonna work" Mum stressed and Shirley mocked copied her.

"i never hid anything from ya i never have and you know that L. i left the invite downstairs for everyone to see. past me the post will ya" one of his arms moved as i still held onto him he was shuffling before he lent us forward.

"i didn't want to ram it down your throat. its new year and i wanted to start out nice, you don't want to go do you?" Dads arms were back around me again and i shifted a little.

"i do" i heard Johnny we all looked to him

"what is it with this Wayne has he got three heads or something." Shirley asked  i snorted or something.

"lets put it this way Shirl the geezer loves a mirror." Dad replied

"he don't ever get out the bathroom" Mum added

"you really are gonna go aren't ya mum, it's her wedding it her....you two never missed a sports day. you still pick us off the bus when it's raining. Its Nancy's wedding Dad and she ain't gonna let that drop, she will most likely get herself knocked up just to prove she ain't bothered." with that Johnny left.

"I'll have a egg" Shirley said i pulled away.

"so will i please" i smiled weakly.

"girls get dressed" Dad said. i looked towards him.

"no way Dad why?"i whined.

"because she's our daughter and your sister." he told me.

"fine then you go I'll stay" i shrugged

"no we are all going end of. so wash up and get ready" i folded my arms not moving.

"now Amelia" i huffed when he used my full name and went to my room. i picked out a dress, jacket and heels before getting ready.

"come on Mia" i huffed walking out of my room.

"Mum can i use your makeup"

"yeah sure" we got to the car.

"I'm in front" i stood aside for Johnny he sighed at got out and i got in.

"I'm just going t sit here at the back Johnny"

"and you ain't gonna say nothing" Dad said

"and i ain't gonna say anything"  Mum repeated

"that will be a first" Shirley commented i rolled my eyes and fixed my seatbelt as them two started at it.

"oh for heavens sake button it will ya unlike you two i still have a hangover. Mum make up please" she sighed and gave be some foundation and set dust (dunno what you call it) as well as a mirror.
