Chapter Nine

i woke up the next morning and looked across the room. i was now stuck sharing with Nancy,  it was fine as long as she wouldn't talked to me. i went  to the bathroom and then to the kitchen.

"morning Daddy" i kissed his head.

"morning Princess" i grabbed some bread and made some toast and sat on the counter with Johnny.

"would you have sex with a serial killer for 10 grand." Johnny randomly asked.

"sausage" Mum was wide eyed

"have you been looking at your mothers passport again i told you, you look a little bit like Fred West" Dad teased

"he's been hanging out with Tina, well i supposed she's the lesser of two evils " Mum was doing her make up

"well would ya?" Johnny asked

"no cause that would mean cheating on your mother  and i would never do that." she blew a kiss to him my toast popped and i went on making it.

"morning" Nancy came in. "anymore tea" she asked  i munched on my toast.

"reckon you can squeeze another one out baby" she poured her tea "you seem very chipper today"

"yeah well i did think about getting in your face but then i thought..."

"you thought you tried something different" i smirked as Johnny slapped mine and Dad's hand.

"haha no i thought you wouldn't take any notice and i don't want to push you too far cause you might write me out of your will you know how much I'm looking forward to spending all your money" she commented

"yeah you'll be lucky Nance i spent my last bean buying this place i finished my toast and went to my room.  i began doing my hair  then  i slipped on my dress before going to do my makeup.

"still being a mini Mum then" she talked to me but i continued on. i applied my blusher.

"oh come on your really not going to talk to me." still nothing as i did my eyelashes then lip gloss.

"Mia come on"

"what. what do you want me to say Nancy. Welcome back to the family, kiss my rear end" i glared at her through the mirror. i put my studs in.

"no but something. we haven't talked since." i turned

"don't you dare mention it. you didn't care then so what makes now any different." i stood up. "don't even think you can come here and pretend that nothing happened cause it did. we may have to share a room but don't talk to me and i won't talk to you" i fitted my shoes on and left.

"Mum can i have some money I'm picking a few things up" i grabbed my coat she went for her bag and purse giving me £20 pounds

"thanks mum" i left the Vic and stopped at the fruit and veg. where Peter was.

"can i have three carrots, cauliflower and... well that it"

"we need to talk" he said picking up what i asked for.

"about?" he handed me the bag and i paid.

"you know what about" he gave me change.

"nope, sorry" i went to the minute mart and looked for what i needed i grabbed some stuff and put it into a basket.

"Mia, we kissed. i meant actually kissed on new year's" he whispered in a harsh tone

"oh well done genius and in fact implying we kissed me a small thing peck or a bit of a linger. what you should say is we made out or snogged whatever floats your boat" i went to grab some milk and butter then paid. i left the shop and went to the cafe to get some tea. when i paid i headed back to the Vic

"very funny Mia. Cause of the other night i can't look Lola in the eye" i looked all around before pushing Peter into the cellar.

"look. yes we made out but let me tell you a couple of things 1. we were drunk 2. you kissed me first and 3. i broke it off. if you are so happy with Lola then why didn't you leave earlier huh, you could have had a couple of drinks far away from the bar and left. that way you getting smashed and giving me a mind blowing kiss would never have happened. So tell me Peter why didn't you leave early" i folded my arms.

"i...i ugh i don't know ever since you were so bold on calling me hot i can't stop thinking about you. " i scoffed

"i mean it not one girl has ever been like that and it just..." he trailed off

"i like you Mia" he confessed

"like me? Peter you barley know me and your with someone else. I can be mean but stealing another girls bloke isn't my thing and i don't do shoddy affairs i told you that i won't be your bit on the side. Go back to Lola, Peter. it was just a new year's kiss" i left the cellar and went to go upstairs.

"you dark horse"
