Chapter Seventeen

i was brutally awoke by falling on the floor. in the morning

"Oww" i sat up and saw Johnny sleeping with his arm out oh he was gonna get it i snuck out the room Dad was in the kitchen i looked through the cupboards.

"what you looking for?" he asked

"a bucket Johnny shoved me outta bed fair is fair." i continued looking till i found one under the sink gold i filled it up with cold water before leaving. back in Johnny's room he was fast asleep.

"wakey wakey Johnny boy" i tipped the bucket on him and he shot up.

"Mia what the hell" i laughed and ran out and into the bathroom to have a shower when i came out Johnny was waiting i gave him a smile.

"serves you right for shoving me out of bed" i went to get dressed and get breakfast going in the living room.

"have i got a treat for you guys" Tina passed us flyers it was for a club well a gay club. now this could be fun have a proper good time with my aunts.

"no" Johnny shook his head i munched on my toast.

"oh come on its free entry and half price drinks till 10" Tina pleaded "Shirley and Mia are going ain't ya"

"I'm gonna wear my sparkly tights" Shirley confirmed

"not to mention my sexy, sparkly short black dress" i finished my toast and took some tea.

"see how can you say no after that" she chuckled

"nah it's not really my thing" he grabbed his glass of milk

"he said the same thing about milk now look at him" Dad commented

"Nance, Mia you talk to him he'll listen to you" Shirl asked

"nah I'm keeping out of it" Nancy replied i however was not.

"please Johnny, come and show those fiiiiiine men how Johnny Carter can move because i have no chance with them" i pleased

"you should stay out of it, tell 'em Mick" Mum joined

"no, I'm with Nancy I'm keeping out of it" Dad replied

"just leave him alone" Mum turned to us.

"sorry Linda i don't understand what is the problem" Tina wondered and Mum left i shared a looked with Johnny before i got up and went to help downstairs.

" Mia you can't go out tonight you have shifts here" Mum said coming in

"sorry Mum nowt can do I'm partying" Dad entered the bar.

"Daaaaad" i drawled

"yes darling"

"can you cover my shifts tonight please" i asked not looking up from my magazine

"course Princess" i smiled

"thanks Daddy" i continued reading through my magazine.

"Mick!" there was a huff followed by Mum walking out. the phone rang and i went back upstairs. i did my early shift before going up to get ready it was dark and i was ready for a good time.

"hello foxy lady" Tina whistled i laughed

"where's Johnny he said he was coming right" Johnny came out look dull and not ready to pull

"that shirt don't look right" Tina commented

"'ant you got anything tighter" Shirley asked

"nooo" he lied walking past us.

"yes you have that one with the V neck"  Nancy said

"why can't i where what i want?" he asked

"cause you won't pull wearing what you are" i replied

"he really doesn't get it typical man" Tina looked to us

"maybe he need some gel or something" Nancy wondered tilting her head

"look i already said i would go so will you just back off" Mum came out of the kitchen

"what d'ya think you're doing " Mum questioned

"getting Johnny ready for his big night" Tina answered

"he's working in the pub and he knows that don't you Johnny" she looked at him

"yeah" he replied before going downstairs

"and you young lady are not going out like that" she pointed to me.

"to late, oh wait seen as he's not going..." i went into Johnny's room and borrowed one of his jackets. i followed my aunts going downstairs .

"we're going now Johnny" i smiled

"yeah you can still come with us. don't worry about your mother i can handle her." Shirley added

"nah just go please" we nodded

"ah Linda...there is one good thing to come out of this"

"oh yah what?"

"your gay son, i mean now you two can go shopping together."

"not before me though. come on you lot" i went to go

"you try anything like that again and I'll wrap them sparkly tight right round your throat"

"Mum!" i protested. Shirley smiled and left with me and Tina.
