Chapter Twenty Five

"awh look, look ain't they sweet they come out looking like they need a iron" Mum cooed looking over the dog website. it was embarrassing yet hilarious at the same time.

"how many times can she get pregnant in a year? we could get quid's in" Johnny was making a sandwich

"well at this rate we might need it. oh i wish they'd just hurry up and call" Mum looked towards the stairs. "were did we put the pedigree papers?" she asked

"shelf underneath the phone" i answered

"good we need to know so them to prove she's proper" she went back to looking at the laptop "oh there is a site here that find the right dog. like in fiddler on the roof d'ya remember" she asked Johnny he remembered some of the song.

"oh nice I'm down there setting up and you're up her like prancing around" Nancy enters

"oh Nancy come here and look baby bulldogs " she cooed

"yeah rancid, they look like prunes" She commented

"oh you won't say that when they're here. little tiny barks, little ears" Mum went all fluffy

"i hate baby things man"

"well that's me not being a grandma anytime soon."

"Damn straight you know i don't want kids" Nancy replied. Mum looked to me in hope i smiled at her.

"cause Mum i want kids unlike her. you'll be a grandma I'm sure of it just not until i get my degree though" i warned her.

"I'd like to have kids as well" Johnny piped up.

"what are you gonna be the Mum or the Dad" Nancy teased

"he'd be a good Mum i reckon" i added

"i don't care I'm gonna have kids and when i do they'll see loads of the Grandma Linda and their Grandpa Mick"

"neeeh you'll still be living at home" Nance replied

"i wouldn't mind I'd rather have a full house like your grandma's then be stuck alone like your granddad" she scowled

"oh come on that ain't gonna happen to you" Johnny pouted before leaving. i went to make a drink.

"you two will make great Mum's" she told us.

"I've just said" Nancy started

"i know I'm just saying that when you are you'll be fantastic. although the thought of your baby stuffed into a tiny track suit" i shivered

"that's why they will have their Auntie Mia to put them on the right track i joked. Nancy stuffed some cereal in her mouth and tried to annoy mum before leaving. i finished making my tea and went downstairs as the phone rang.

"Lady Di come on" i called i was going to take her for a walk after i finished

"I'll get it, its proberly your Gran again" i went into the bar as Mum answered the phone. i sat down and Lady Di jumped up and laid next to me.

"girls we're in the clear Mum ain't going to prison" i cheered

"actually to be fair that has proberly saved me some street cred. 'oi Nance what's your Mum in for GBH? Drugs?' no selling pies" i laughed

"ugh you have no idea how relived i am" Mum sighed happy.

"relived?" oh that's all we need.

"Lady Di dinners here" i pointed to her and Mum glared at me

"oh hello Sharon...we're not open yet" Mum smiled fakely

"yes cause if we were i would love to publically humiliate you again" i smiled sweetly

"Mia why don't you put your tea into a travel mug and take Lady Di out for a walk" Mum suggested but it was really go do that or else" i shrugged.

"Di stay and no eating the prunes" i joked heading upstairs to get my coat and pour my tea into a travel mug and heading out grabbing the pink lead on the way. i fixed it onto her collar and walked out of the pub. i headed to the park and let her go. i still had no contact from Zsa Zsa well that was until my phone went off. was she like side kick or something.

"Zsa Zsa!" i chirped

"alright Mia... you alright?" she asks.

"yeah bored without you causing trouble. where are you?" i asked

"France with my boyfriend." she answered.

"oh we have so much to talk about. why won't you come to Walford?" i wondered

"because I've been there done that and Mum is with you ain't she" i sighed

"so we're causing trouble and it would be 10x fun if you were here to cause it with me" i smirked

"Zsa Zsa come on we'll be late" i heard a voice shout in the background.

"alright coming! look Mia how 'bout we Skype in a couple days username still the same right?" i sighed

"changed it PrincessCarterVictoria" i told her i know lame but who cares

"catch you later" she hung up

"bye then" it was rubbish that two people i cause havoc with are away Zsa Zsa in France and Lee in Afghanistan. i stood up and finished my tea then went to put Lady Di on her lead.

"come on Lady Di" we walked back home and upstairs it was just before opening time and Mum was in the kitchen.

"Mum?" she turned round

"yes sweetheart." she smiled

"when are you talking to Lee again?" i questioned looking down at the counter top.

"soon. why do you want to speak with him?" i nodded

"i miss him Mum, it's like were stating fresh and he's supposed to be here. even if its being the over protective, annoying big brother" she comes over and hugs me.

"it's alright sweetheart. i tell you what next time you can have him all to yourself. how does that sound." she asks

"but won't you want to speak with him" she waves me off

"i always speak with him missing one call for the benefit of you its nothing. honest"

"if your absolutely sure we could share if you want" i suggested

"Mia you talk with your brother its fine" i smiled

"thanks Mum you're the best" i hug her one last time before getting ready to work
