Sally had sat Lock down on a chair in the newly fixed living room. Jack stood scowling in the corner, he did NOT want his living room messed up again! Lock's tail was swinging irritably behind him...well best it could as Lock was forced to sit on it.
"Ok well let's start with why are you always angry Lock?" Sally asked. Lock stayed silent, unable to answer because even he did not know. He guessed he was always like this but seems not. He played it off though and snarled before turning his head away from them both. Sally sighed and tried again.
"Why are you always angry Lock?" Smiling she sat forward, hoping to sound and look friendly. Again nothing.
"Lock if you don't tell me then I can't help." She tried to reason.
"I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP! YOUR JUST STRAW AND STICKS HELD TOGETHER WITH FABRIC!" Lock exclaimed, jumping up. His tail whipped towards the closest wall and slashed it. Jack sighed deeply, his newly fixed wall was now broken...Shock and Barrel had heard this all and was trying stifle their laughs from Lock's insult. Suddenly Barrel stepped on Shock's foot and this caused Shock to punch his face. Eventually this turned into a full out war, which of course Jack and Sally heard. Slamming the door open Jack dragged the two ex boogie boys in, dropping them in their own chairs. Sally smiled still and continued to try to help. It didn't end well. Ten fights, two explosions, four ropes, six rolls of duct tape and many profanities later, Jack and Sally finally managed to get them to stay in one place for more than five minutes. All three were grumbling and glaring at the two adults. Those two adults were slumped on the temporary couch, hiding the other one from the troublesome trio. The two groups were sick of the other, though the pumpkin king and ragdoll wouldn't admit it. However the children didn't mind one bit about voicing their problems with the predicament they were in. Curses that damn pumpkin bomb, the kids thought. Shaking in anger, Lock finally realised what Shock was showing him. It was picture of them all from 400 years ago. They had lost it for 100 years due to candy covering the place but Shock cleaned up and must of found it. He suddenly felt extremely guilty. Shock probably wanted it up to remind them all of the fun times they had together but no. He had to ruin it with his anger! Lock's shoulders slumped and he turned to Shock.
"Hang up the picture...I want it up..." He admitted turning away in embarrassment. Shock just smiled under her mask.
"Sure bro..." They were mumbling so Jack and Sally wouldn't hear them. Sally raised an eyebrow at their mumbling but thought nothing of it. She knew not to interfere with their meetings, unless she wanted axe to her face. She hobbled back over. Time to try again...
