"Jonathan, don't!" Jenelle shouted. But it was too late. His beautiful hazel eyes which once had captured her heart and soul, were now bloodshot and the pigment had almost been drained from them. His strong forearms that long ago seemed to be able to carry the world, now lay limply at his sides. Then those bloodshot, dull eyes interlocked with her own green ones and he jumped and hit the ground with a sickening splat. The only words that could come to Jenelle's mind were "I'm sorry."
She woke up with a start. Her dreams of groping hands roaming up her skirt, had quickly been replaced with ones that tore her heart apart. She checked her phone. 2:46a.m. Jenelle sent him a quick message and then got up to have a cigarette. The dream continued to haunt her even though she'd been awake for about 10 minutes. He had been away for work for roughly two weeks now and she missed him extraordinarily. She worried a lot about his actions away from home. It wasn't that she didn't trust him, it's just that they had never spent this amount of time apart from one another.
She somehow managed to get through school that day. Mostly due to free periods and bunking. She got home and lay around in her school uniform for a couple of hours and eventually ended up lazing on her phone. Jonathan hadn't replied to her texts for a while and she started to get nervous. Suddenly he walked through her door. He was back! Her first instinct was to run into his warm embrace but she couldn't comprehend the mixture of love and anger in her system. So she ran. She didn't get more than a few feet from her house before she turned to see him running after her with tears in his eyes. He picked her up and began sobbing into her shoulder. His muffled cries caught Jenelle by surprise and she could do nothing but hold him and whisper in his ear. Secrets that only they knew.
Time stopped for those few moments and it was just the two of them holding one another. She craved his touch as an addict would crave a needle, his hands caressed her hips and soon his mouth met hers. Interlocked in an eternal kiss, he put her down and her tongue explored the mouth that she had missed for so long. She wanted him inside of her. To feel every inch of him once again.
Her sinful thoughts were interrupted by the clearing of throats. Quinn and Amy stood behind them, along with her mother. They pulled apart and stood like two puppies that had been caught chewing up their owner's slippers. Jenelle's mother had no idea that they were sleeping together let alone that Jenelle was not a virgin so any chance of a shameful reunion would have to be put on hold. Not for long though because within hours, they had found the opportunity to "be sketchy" as Jonathan had so eloquently put it once. They redressed and composed themselves before deciding to take a walk. "I missed you." He said to her. It was the first time they'd actually gotten a chance to speak since he'd gotten home. Between the sex and the crying they had been too preoccupied to have a proper conversation.
