Will you be the hummus to my pita bread?
[In no way am I shaming my culture and I love it very much <3 And it's not just girl problems it's just all things relatable with being Lebanese/Arab of any kind <3]
Before I start, I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to MyFriendOfMisery for helping me come up with the topic for this chapter❤️ love you so much habibi and I'm glad we started talking ✨ ___________________________ Let me just say... the cause of all Lebanese health problems... are.... drum role please!!! THE SWEETSS.
Ugh lemme just tell ya. God bless the hands of the inventors of Lebanese sweets❤️✨ did that make sense?? I don't know 😂 what I do know is we eat them at any time of day. We have Knafeh for breakfast (ugh don't get me started on Knafeh😍)
Guess what the first thing you bring when you wanna visit someone's house?? The first thing you put out when someone comes over?? Sweeeets.
May it just be named a sin to arrive to someone's house empty handed in the Lebanese culture😂so what do you bring? Sweets. Sorry is that getting annoying? My bad 😬😂
Anyways even if you bring the sweets, most likely the owner will put them out for everyone to eat while you're all sitting down anyways 🙏🏼 soooo like... done mind if I do 🌝😁😂😍❤️😋
Also there is this place called Shatila bakery in Mitchigan and it's literally heaven on earth in the U.S 😍 they sell the most amazing Lebanese sweets ❣️ (🚨Caution: looking at these next photos may be intense for some people... viewer discretion is advised🚨)
