I probably talked about it before .... BUT SIS IMA TALK ABOUT IT AGAIN.

Marriage can be a very annoying topic to talk about in an Arab household lemme tell ya. It's like ever since you were born they be tellin ya who you're gunna marry.
What's even more annoying is the limitations they put on you. I know not all Arab families are like this but here is the biggest topics I'm talking about ⤵️
Limitation #1: They HAVE to be Lebanese (as in forget Syrian, Palestinian and or any other middle easterners) * same for who ever is reading this and isn't Lebanese*
Limitation #2: can't marry outside of your religion. Maronites/Christians/Orthodox marry ⬆️ Druze marry Druze Muslim marry Muslim. God bless the parents who don't think like this dude.

Ohh and don't get me started on all your khalotos telling you each week a new man/ woman they found for you to marry. My Khalto is so annoying with this. LITERALLY EVERY GROWN ASS MAN SHE TALKS TO SHE SAID "isn't my niece beautiful" WHILE IM STANDING THERE. Like sis he's like 30 chill.
Oh and she be like "I found you the most beautiful man to marry he's ______"
"Bes Khalto he's like my 3rd cousin"
"Okay? You were never close anyways habibi" 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

All in all I can't wait to get married #1 so they can stop telling me who to marry. And #2 for the lit ass Arabic wedding and to dabke but my husband can live in a different house plz w thanks.
