Ahhh the Arabic language... very beautiful... but when literally translated, very funny🙈😂

Like we have so many sayings that are supposed to sound cute... but when translated are hella funny 😂

You don't understand what I mean? Let me hit you guys up with some examples ⤵️

-literal translation : Digestible
-how we use it: we use it to mean funny (don't ask me I don't know how🙈😂)

Example 2: Byettekal
-literal meaning: Eatable
-how we use it: cute

Example 3: helo
-literal meaning: candy/ sweet
how we use it: Beautiful

Example 4: rou7 ballit el ba7er
-literal meaning: Go tile the sea
-how we use it: Get lost!

Example 5: tanjra w le2it ghataha
-literal meaning: a pot found its cover
-how we use it: said for 2 people who click

Example 6: Yo'borni/ yo'borni Jamelo
-literal meaning: bury me/ may his beauty bury me
-how we use it: we literally use it just like that😂 like we use it to express our love to someone.... by literally saying... bury me... 😭😭😂

I feel like I've brought a lot of the Lebanese community together through this book and that's why I would hate to end it and I've talked to a lot of you guys and I love you guys so much😞💞 I've seen you guys laugh together and comment through out the chapters together laughing and I can't tell you how happy that makes me feel ❤️

but I feel like I'm disappointing you guys and the chapters are not like they used to be. I need my habibi teams help😞💔
