Porter opens the door to leave giving  me one last look and smile and leaves
I lay there in bed placing my hands where his warm body was this is one part I hate when my mind starts to over think things. We both at the beginning of this relationship deemed it a no strings attached , just two people finding warmth, comfort in each other. After while I get up for the day and get showered and dressed ,

I texted my best friend who was in hotel room next to me telling her i was up.

You up
Yeah I am
Want to go explore today
Sure give me 10 min
Alright

I put my phone down and slipped on my tennis shoes and grabbed my keys and purse . Opening the door There stood April about to knock on my door

She looked in the room and saw the bed and knew right away

"So he was here last night "she asked

"Yes he was "

"Allie , did you tell him how you feel "

No, I'm not going to April its to complicated and besides I don't know how he feels, I don't want to ruin it "

"But Allie "

"DON'T APRIL "

"Fine Allie, have it your way "

She walked away from me , I knew in a way she was right but to be honest i was scared
I caught up with her at the elevator

"Listen April I know you are just looking out for me and I am sorry for yelling at you "

She grinned
"Yes Allie I am looking out for you and I understand why but it doesnt mean i have to like it "

"Very true "I respond

The elevator opened we got on and went down the lobby
Getting off the elevator I saw them April did too .
They were all standing near the front doors having an conversation. As we approached the doors I felt the familiar eyes looking at me so I looked up and he was looking at me he smiled , the butterflies started to stir in my stomach .

"Hey isn't that Allie and April" Doogie said

"Yeah it is "Brannon said

"Hey girls "Doogie said loudly to get our attentions

Both April and I stopped

"Hey guys "April said

"You two here for the ghost hunt "Doogie asked

"Yes we are OSPH is going to be a lot of fun" April said

"It never disappoints "Brannon said

"Where are y'all headed to "Chasey asked

"Out to get some breakfast then explore " April answers

"Well join us for breakfast" Doogie said

"Sure "April replies

Damn she agreed really fast to that I thought to myself.  I really just wanted us to go to breakfast but I guess going with them I got to see Porter so its worth it .

"Where we going then "I asked
"There is a good place just down the street , we can all ride together "Doogie suggested

So all of us piled into two trucks I ended up in the truck with Mike, Chris , Brannon
April was in the truck with Doogie, Porter, Chasey . Mike drove us , Doogie Drove them.

We ended up at a little restaurant about 10 min away from the hotel. As we rode over there I was asked several questions about why I wanted to ghost hunt . I told them it was part because it fascinates me and I love history.

"Have you ever been to OSPH before "Mike asked
"No I haven't at all its been on my bucket list" I replied
They told me stories about their previous investigations.

We arrived at the place and I went to reach for the door to open it and it was already opening I looked up and it was Chris, I smiled he returned the smile and said
"Do you think you would have to open your own door "
I laughed , "Its nice to have such a gentleman opening the door for me "
He laughed and smiled

I got out of the truck , he took my arm and said come along Miss Allie so we walked like that
He leaned in and Whispered to me do you think he is getting jealous
I smiled and said who are we talking about trying to play it cool
He laughed , "You two are not fooling anyone , I can see it in both of you , your smiles say it all , he was grumpy before you walked up this morning and now he is all smiles " Chris says to me

"Listen Chris "I said

"Allie, there is no reason to hide it both of you are adults "
I was going to respond but everyone walked up and I didn't.

I wasn't happy at that moment and April picked up on it

"Whats wrong Allie "

"Nothing ", I opened the door and went in

I heard her ask Chris what did you say to her

He answered
"I just told her the truth about something and evidently she didn't like hearing it "

"The truth about what "April asked

"Ask her" he said

I went straight to the bathroom I needed to regain my thoughts. The door opened
April walked in ,
"Hey you "
"Hey "
"What did Chris say to you "
"Nothing April I don't want to talk about "
"are you sure "
"Yes  i am lets go get some food "
"alright "

We went back out to the table and I sat down next to Chasey  and Across from April
The waitress took our drink orders and filled the coffee cups with coffee .

We ordered food and talked about OSPH . The stories they were telling were very interesting you could tell this was one their favorite places to investigate. I started to relax and let go of what Chris had said . It doesn't matter anyway Porter isn't in love with me we have a an agreement is what I keep telling myself hoping that I will believe it

I Went to the rest room again since we had finished eating , I left them to deiced what we were going to do for the day before we had to be over at the Hospital for the investigation . Coming out of the bathroom I ran into Porter , he pulled me away from the view of the group ,

He backed me up against the wall, leaned forward and kissed me hard the kind of kiss that seems to say you know you belong to me . I broke the kiss , looked at him was about to say something when Mike came around the corner he just smiled and went into the bathroom . He let go of me and went into the bathroom himself. I had to regain my composer before I went back to the table .

What the hell was he thinking kissing me like that here , was Chris right about making him Jealous , did Porter really care . Oh Stop it Allie i thought . Both Mike and Porter came back and I saw the look he gave Chris .

As we left the restuarnt Chris took my arm again ,

"Hey Guys I need to talk to Allie for a second y'all go on ahead We will be there in a second "

If Looks could have killed , Chris would have been Dead , Porter gave him a look that all of us noticed .
I pulled my arm away from Chris once they were away

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING" I yelled
"CALM down , IM just proving my point to you , He cares about you , he kissed you in the hallway by the bathrooms didnt he "

I didnt answer

"He did , you know how i know , he gave that look when he got back that look of she's mine" so tell me I'm wrong Allie he loves you and both of you are afraid to admit it " Chris says
