He drove us to the stores we need to hit and then we went to the baby superstore and then back to Target
There is so much stuff a baby needs.
We picked out two different bedding one for a boy and one for a girl since we didn't know what the baby's was yet
As we were walking out a couple of fans saw us and came over to talk
Meeting the fans is always a lot of fun.  I got Mike's gifts.
It's was after 6 when we got done so we went to Prince Street Pizza and grab a pizza to take home

The week went by to fast for me it was time for him to go back on the road the night before we made love several times and that morning I sent him off with a smile.
I got dressed and headed into work I was in the Labor and Delivery for the first part of the month then the second half I was splitting time between ER and L&D.
The day went by pretty fast , there was three women already in labor when I got in then another 2 came in so there was five women in labor it was a busy day. It's wonderful thing to watch a new life come into this world. Only one had to go for an emergency c-section the baby's heart rate dropped and they feared the cord was around the baby's neck so off to the operating room the woman went
Later on I checked on the Woman and her little one who was just fine and so little.
After my last rounds i texted April and asked was she up for drinks
Heck yeah she said
Alright meet you in 30 min at Buffalo Wild Wings
Roger that she texted back
Lol girl

I had ordered a beer but the smell of it made me nauseas so I gave it to April and just had water
What's with not drinking it she asked
It just didn't smell right
Your not to smell it your to drink it she said with a laugh
Ha ha ha your so funny
So have you totally decided on wether to adopt or not
We are I said
She beamed well Well Allies gonna be a momma when's the baby due

Allie you only have a month to get ready
A month and half I said
Still that's not much time
Yes it is we already have Dylan's crib and the dresser from the house
Do you know if it's a boy or girl
Nope won't know until it's born
Only you, Mike and Porters parents know so keep it hush hush
Why do you not want anyone to know
Just in case it falls through I don't want to get anyone's hopes up especially mine
I understand have you tried for another one of your own
Well we haven't prevented it if that's what you want to know
Ha yes can I ask are you two gonna get married before or after the baby is born

Yes he did and I'll tell you the same thing
I'm already asking him to be a dad to a baby that isn't his that's enough for now don't get me wrong I will say yes when he does ask
Good to know she said with a grin
The Waiter came back by and put to shots of fireball on the table
Whoa we didn't order them April did
No we didn't I said
Those are from the gentlemen over there
Both of us looked over to where he was pointed
Two guys were waving back at us
Wtf I said
April laughed and said you can take them to them and tell them no thanks
So the Waiter did as asked and the guys weren't to happy
Alright April let's get out of here before any trouble starts
Okay I left cash on the table to pay for dinner and we got up to leave
As we approached the door one of the guys stepped in between me and the door since I was in the front
So what's to Beautiful Ladies doing out by yourselves
Leaving I said
He blocked the door
Please move I said somewhat nicely
Why should I he responded
Because the lady said so I hear come from behind us
The guy looked past me and said what's to you old man
Listen up boy , that's my daughter in law you are messing with
And that's my daughter in law another voice said
I knew who it was Pa and Brannon's  Dad both were standing there arms crossed when I turned around
Pa stepped between myself and the guy
So are you going to move or do I have to move you he growled
The guy moved and walked away
I tapped Pa on his shoulder and he turn I gave him a kiss and a big hug
April did the same to Brannon's Dad
Hi Handsomes I said to both of them after I gave Brannon's dad a hug too
You two are always causing trouble aren't you Brannon's Dad said
Ha yep that's why the guys don't let us go out by ourselves
Pa laughed you are right
Thank you so much both of you I said
Anytime Allie, you headed home
Yes I have to be back at work at 7 am for the next 7 days then it's 11 am for 7 days
You working two weeks straight
The whole month first two weeks I'm in the L&D then I'm two weeks split between L&D and ER
Why so much Brannon's Dad asked
To keep busy since Porter isn't home
Both of them grinned

Nothing they both saiid
Sure I said
Well we will let you two get home
Thank you again I said as I gave them both a hug
We left I went home. Dropped my scrubs in the washer and then headed to the shower and bed
I didn't last long before I fell asleep
Waking up the next morning with a goodnight text from Porter to which I texted back
Good Morning my sweet Porter have a wonderful day my love
Half way through the month I got to go to one of the appointments to see the baby I knew head of time so I faced time Porter during the appointment so he could see the baby 
The mother Anna was about 35 weeks along , she had met Porter before he left to go on the road . She told me that she could see the love that we have for each other
I told her thank you
She said that she has as already had the papers drawn up for us to adopt the baby that the lawyer would be contacting us in a day or so
Okay that's so wonderful I hugged her she wasn't expecting that
She was now on weekly appointments
It was beginning to sink in that I was going to become a mother.

After the appointment I talked to Porter again for a little while before he had to go to dinner then investigate
We talked about baby names we came up with some crazy ones and some really good ones

The lawyer did contact me and needed both of us to come down and review the adoption papers , Porter called  the lawyer back and told him to send them to our Lawyer so that they could review it first so they did
Everything was great with it so all we needed was a baby now .

Porter surprised me and came home one weekend they had gotten done early and were close enough. It was wonderful to have him home I rearranged my schedule to be able to be with him a whole day and the evening

Allie we need to talk about the housing issue I know that currently April is renting from you , do you want to keep going with that or sell the house
Well I was thinking I would give April first dibs on buying it if she wanted it and then putting the money away for whatever
Alright that sounds like a plan guess we need to contact a realtor
I already have to find out what price to sell at and I told April the price and she said that she would get back with me in a week
He smiled at me okay next thing is we need to go ahead and announce the baby so that Nana can finally tell everyone and have a shower for the baby
Yes I know Nana has been going crazy with not being able to tell anyone
Yes she has .
How do you want to do that just let everyone know
Let's just let the close family and friends know then we can announce it to the fans maybe
Okay sounds good to me
We spent our time wisely I suggested he go and get Dylan it was his weekend for him , y'all need some bonding time
He kissed my head and said you are wonderful I'll be back in 20 min and we can have family time
He left I called for pizza and got back before they did
Dylan was thrilled to see his dad and to have pizza for dinner
Allie Allie Allie he hollers as he comes in the door

He came running up to me hugged me kissed my cheek
We having pizza
Yes sir we are
As I put the plates on the table I felt nauseous again that was twice today
Allie you don't look so good Dylan said
I'm alright I think
He's right Allie you look pale your sugar levels good
Yeah I just feel nauseous
Sit down we will set the table
So I did
I felt better once I ate
We had a awesome time the three of us
I love having Family time even if it's  brief
Porter was headed back out and Dylan was headed back home but I did tell him that I was coming to his play that week so that I could record it for Porter
