Waking up the next morning snuggled up next to him was great . I slipped out of bed and got showered and dressed for the day , I knew he needed to sleep more than me. I thought I was being quite so as to not to wake him up

"What are you doing Allie "
"Um I thought you were asleep "
"You didn't answer "
"Well I was going to go get some containers and trash bags and other things to get started on the clean up at my house "
"Well you Missy just wait a few minutes and I will drive us . "

So I did he got up showered and dressed we left .
Stopping by the hardware store for the supplies then off to my house .
He parked and the told me to wait until he went in
Then he came out said okay you can come in now
So I got out and walked up to the garage and went in that way .

"Man this house is a wreck "he said
"Yeah I know and this is just the downstairs
Wait until you see upstairs "
"Well let's just work down here first "

So that's what we did for over 3 hrs until I was starving we stopped for lunch and a break. I went upstairs to get the vacuum and when I can back down he wasn't in the house .
I went to work vacuuming up the glass man it was making a lot of noise.
There is got to be a better way I thought as I turned off the vacuum
I didn't want to scratch my floors by moving the vacuum so went and found the broom and lightly swept the glass up into a bigger pile then used the vacuum , it was more work but this way I didn't mess up the floors
I repeated this process for a while
Porter came back in

"Girl you have been moving along "
"Yes I have well both of us have "
"The kitchen , dinning room and utility room have been fixed , The living room was almost done, but we still have the upstairs to do "

"Well what can we help with" a voice from behind Porter said
He turned and I looked past him
It was the girls , Nicole, Jen, Missy and Porters Mom
"Did you call them" I asked
"Hmmm maybe "
"Thank you guys and Porter I do need the help we are almost done down here but upstairs is a mess too "
"Well just tell us what you want done "
"Okay well all the bedrooms need the beds put back on their frames and remade . The bonus room needs to have all the books, pictures and what ever else they moved or knocked over put back doesn't matter where
The bathrooms both need to have the drawers put back in the cabinets oh one of the doors needs to be fixed
The clothes that they pulled out of my closet and drawers need to go back "

"They sure did a number on the place , have they said why or caught them " his mama said

"Nope the only thing I figure is they thought they would find money but they won't
Nobody will find the safe in the house unless I tell you " I tell them
"What you got it hidden "

"Yes I do , when I bought this house it was a foreclosure in really bad shape I had to replace a lot of the walls since I was already fixing it I could put in a safe but keep the same square footage and I did it .
April and I did all the work that we felt comfortable doing the electrical was all updated, bathrooms Redone , painted, all new floors down here and new carpet upstairs the only thing I have left to work on is the free standing garage it needs to be cleaned out and I know the concrete needs to repaired or just replaced oh and the roll up door needs to be replaced "I tell them
"Girl you have been busy "
"Yes I have "
"Well enough talking let's get busy "
So off the girls went to work .

It was after 5 when we stopped for the day my house was almost back to normal minus the door
"Guys let's go out to get pizza my treat" I said
"Sure let's meet around 7:30 so we all can go home clean up and change "
So that's what we did Porter went home then came back for me
I was finished getting Dressed in a nice dress that I forgot I had but since all my clothes were pulled out I found it
Coming out of the bathroom he was standing in the doorway
I jumped a little
He smiled
"You look good ", he took my dress and was raising it a little
Porter we don't have time for that I said as I lightly smack his hand
We always have time
Ha
He kissed me and the next thing I knew my dress was off and we were in bed making love

That's all it takes is his kiss
Afterwards we had to get dressed again quickly we only had 15 min before we had to be at dinner

We made it the same time the girls did
Oh the laughs we had at dinner
Porter got the Waiter to take a picture of all of us
He posted saying thank you lovely ladies for helping us today oh Doogie, Chasey and Mike too bad y'all miss this
It was a cute photo
After dinner we headed back to his place.
We had just walked in the door when he got a call from his ex wife about his son Dylan , seems Dylan was running a fever and his ex was doing a photo shoot early morning and was wondering if he could come get him
Hold on a sec
He asked me
"Go get Dylan honey" I said with a smile
So he left and brought Dylan home
And boy Dylan has a fever he was red in the face and plain didn't feel good
We all three snuggled up on the couch and watched a movie
It didn't take Dylan long to fall asleep
"Poor little guy , I'll put him to bed "I said
I scooped him up and carried him to bed.
He woke up for a few seconds then fell back to sleep .
I made my way back to the living room
Porter was on the couch dozing off
"Hey you sweet man how about the two of us hit the bed and get some sleep "
He smiled a sleepy smile alright let's go
So off to bed we went
Sleep came fast and easy for us

It was around 2 in the morning. When I was tapped on the shoulder
"Allie" a little voice said
Uh I turned my head it was Dylan
"What's wrong sweetie "
"I had a nightmare"
"Okay climb up in bed"
He did and climbed in the bed between us
"Allie "
"Yes Dylan "
"Do u love my dad "
"Yes I do "
"I thought so "
"Allie "
"Yes Dylan "
"Do u love me "
"Oh course I do honey"
"Good cause I love you too "
Awe Dylan", I. Tickled him for a second
He let out a good laugh

"What are the two of you doing "Porter asked

"Shhh Dylan quick act like your asleep "
He giggled and I giggled too
"Y'all too aren't right Now go to bed you little monkeys "
"Yes Dad "I said
"Yeas Dad" Dylan said with a giggle
We did go back to sleep.

The morning came I was the second one up Porter was first
Dylan was still asleep he still felt warm but nearly as warm as last night.

I smiled at him when I came into the kitchen , he handed me a cup of coffee
"Hmmm" I said as I took a sip
"Dylan still asleep "
"Yeah he is still warm too not as bad as last night"
