"We have to kill him soon," Ashton stated, staring at the passed out cop on the floor. "It's only a matter of time before Jemma finds out and then we're all screwed."

"She'll never trust us again if she finds out we have this guy down here tied up." Michael agreed.

"I know," I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. All I've been thinking about since Officer Wigg was brought here was how we would kill him without Jemma getting suspicious. We'd have to get her out of the house and soon, but how? Everyone would recognize her. Michael had already dyed his hair a dark color with dark purple patches here and there. "But how am I supposed to get her out of the house when there's an even bigger search party going around now that everyone knows she's still alive?"

Michael shrugged and shook his head, not really knowing the answer, but he gave one out anyway. "We just kill him with her in the house."

Ashton and I both looked at him like he had just suggested we rob the bank without masks or weapons. Usually it was Calum to have the silly ideas, but this was far dumber than any idea Calum has ever spouted out.

"Are you insane?" Ashton questioned. "How do you think we'd pull that off?"

"If we don't do anything loud," Michael answered simply. "If we stab him, he'll yell. If we shoot him, she'll hear the gun. We can find a way to kill him quietly, can't we?"

"What, you mean like smother him?" Ashton wondered, his tone showing he was softening up to the idea.

"No," I barked. "We're not going to do that. We need to do it quick and painless. We usually just shoot our victims, but as Mikey said, that's too loud. But we're not going to smother him."

"Then what do you suggest?" Ashton asked, folding his arms and raising his eyebrows at me. "Because I'd love to hear your ideas."

I looked down at Officer Wigg and sighed. He actually looked peaceful, despite his state. I felt bad for the thought that went through my head, but it would be quick and noiseless.

I didn't make eye contact as I told the two my plan. "We're going to snap his neck."

So far, I was beating Calum in the card game, Bullshit. I figured for a criminal, Calum would be a better liar, but he actually kind of sucked. Or he was just letting me win, in which case I didn't really care. I was still winning so I'd get the bragging rights no matter what.

"CALUM!" one of the boys called from down the stairs.

Calum groaned and set his cards face down on the table. "WHAT?"

"GET DOWN HERE!"

"WHY?"

"JUST GET THE FUCK DOWN HERE, CALUM!"

Calum groaned again and collected the cards. He shuffled them and set them down on the table again, sliding them over to me. "Play some solitaire or something," he suggested. "I think all four of us have some business to take care of so you'll be here by yourself."

"Have fun," I said sarcastically. He gave a half-assed smile before walking down the steps, leaving me by myself in the attic. I looked around, completely bored. "What to do?"

I hadn't left the room since I got to the house two days ago. I also hadn't seen Mikey or Ashton much. It was always Luke or Calum in the room with me. It was usually Calum in the room with me during the day. Luke would return upstairs around 10 o'clock to go to sleep with me, and return back downstairs around 11 o'clock when I would usually wake up.
