I sat down on the stair that went outside. I sighed deeply, and closed my eyes for a second. When I reopen them, my sight had gone blurry. It slowly went back to normal, I looked at my hands; I could turn them in every way. I started laughing about the most random stuff. Again, i closed my eyes, but as I opened them my surroundings had changed. I now sat in a comfy arm chair, instead of the cold stairs. I was in the Ark, in my flat; the one I lived in before my arrest. I smiled and looked around. Then I stood up and walked towards the window to see Earth from space. "It isn't all blue is it?" I heard a female voice from behind. I turned around and saw my mother, "hello, Olivia." I ran into her arms and hugged her tight.
"Mom? But... how?"
"My beautiful Oli," she hugged me tighter then before and let go after. There was a moment of silence, in which my mother stared at me."A very good evening." A male voice said and walked closer, it was my father. He gave me a string hug too, after that we sat down on the couch.
"I'm so proud, Oli." My mother said as she laid a hand on my knee.
"We love you, little princess." My father smiled.
"I- I love you too." I stuttered.
"Then why don't you save me!" My father suddenly shouted, "as your mother is already dead!" I looked at my mother; she smiled weakly, tears slipped down her cheeks. She went from her normal skin color, to all white, as her hair went from black to light gray. She fell from the couch in the hard metal floor, her lifeless eyes staring at the ceiling.
"Murderous bitch." My father said, but his voice was completely different. My sight went blurry again as I passed out, but back in the depot."Olivia!" Someone shouted, but the voice wasn't clear, "Olivia?! Oli! Come one, wake up." I opened my eyes and same Clarke, she sighed in relief.
"What happened?" I said and got up.
"Dax happened," she told me, "we have to go, now. Bellamy is still out there."
"Do you know," I said getting up, "that was the first time in a year you called me Oli?" Clarke smiled a bit and ran outside, I ran after her. After a few minutes of running, we saw Bellamy laying on the ground, Dax pointed a gun at his head. My heart stopped when Dax shot, luckily he had one of the bad guns. "Get away from him, Dax." I almost screamed as I took out my own, now working thanks to the depot bullets, gun. Clarke hid behind a tree, she was unarmed. "Should've stayed down there, Kane. I tried not to kill you, but here you are. And Shumway said no witnesses."
"Shumway?" I recognized the name, he was a friend of my father.
"He set this up," Bell suddenly said, "he gave me the gun to shoot the Chancellor."
"Walk away now," Dax said to me, while messing with his gun, "and I won't kill you."
"What makes you think I won't kill you, Dax?"
"Your choice." He said and fired the gun. I hid fast behind a tree, a bullet struck my arm. I grunted in pain.
"No!" Bellamy yelled and got up. He pushed Dax to the ground and started hitting him.Clarke glanced at me and then at the gun. I nodded slowly. You can do this, she mouthed.
I know I mouthed back and pushed myself away from the tree. Apparently the roles had changed; Dax was now choking Bellamy with his gun.
"Get the hell of him!" Clarke shouted as she ran towards Dax, who hit her in her stomach with his free hand. Then... then there was a gunshot. Dax dropped dead off Bell, a hole in the back of his head. The shot came from my gun, I fired it. I killed Dax.Clarke crawled against a tree while holding her stomach. I sind to the ground, right next to Dax's body. Bell came to me. "You did what had to be done." He said and helped me up.
"I know." I replied. My legs were shaking and walking was difficult. I sunk down again, besides Clarke. "Are you okay?" I asked Clarke, she nodded.
"Are you?" She asked and grabbed my arm to investigate the wound, "your lucky the bullet didn't stay in your arm, it flew right past you. It's like a deep scratch. Are you okay, Bellamy?"
"No, I'm not," Bell breathed, "my mother... if she knew what I'd done... who I am..." he held a pause and looked at the ground, "she raised me to be better, to be good," a few tears slipped down his cheeks, "and all I do is hurt people," he sobbed, "I'm a monster."
"No, Bell," I said making eye contact with him, "Bellamy... you- you make me happy." I crawled some more a against him, comfort him.
"Bellamy," Clarke started, "you may be a total ass half the time... but... I need you. We all need you. None of us would have survived if it wasn't for you."
"If you want forgiveness?" I said, "fine, we'll give that to you. You're forgiven, okay?"
"But..." Clarke said, "you can't run. You have to come back with me. You have to face the things you've done. And Oli, if you're scared of... of your father. You need to talk to him about it, make things right, tell him how you feel. He'll understand. And... Bellamy you need to talk to Jaha."
"We need to face it..." Bellamy spoke up, "like you faced your mom?" Clarke was quiet for a second or two, then scoffed a little and took a deep breath.
"You're right. I don't wanna face my mom. I don't wanna face any of it," she paused for a moment, "all I think about every day is how we're gonna keep everyone alive. But we don't have a choice." Bell sobbed once more. "Jaha will kill me when he comes down," he said.
"No, he won't." I replied, "we'll figure something out. As for me: I will talk to my father as soon as he comes down.
"Can we figure it out later?" Bell said as he looked at the stars.
"Whenever you're ready." Clarke said and laid back against the three like Bell. I laid my head on his shoulder and fell asleep. The delinquents were panicking back in camp. Apparently Lincoln had escaped. A girl was saying that he might come back with friends. "They'll kill us." A boy said.
"Or worse." Another girl replied.
"Let the Grounders come." Bell said as the three of us walked into the camp. Bellamy set the sack of blankets on the ground, "we've been afraid of them for too long. And why? Because of their knives and spears. I don't know about you... but I'm tired of being afraid." We showed the other delinquents the guns.
"Whoa." They gasped.
"These are weapons, okay?" Clarke edited, "not toys we have to be prepared to give them up to the Guard when the drop ships come. But until then... they're gonna help keep us safe."
"And there are plenty more where these came from," Bell said, "tomorrow we start training."
"And if the Grounders come," I said, "we're ready to fight. They will be the ones scared to cross the boundary, not us!"I sat inside a tent. In front of me was a screen, which Jaha was revealed on. He was staring uncomfortable at me, as we waited for Bellamy and Clarke to come in and talk to the Chancellor. The headphone we already settled on my head, when they walked in. Clarke and I sat on either side of Bell. "Mr. Blake," Jaha started slowly, "I've wanted to talk to you for some time now."
"And you should," I said, "but first I would like to say something," Jaha gave me an approving nod, "to start, if Earth wasn't survivable we would be dead. Luckily it is survivable, we can breath. But as you may know it is dangerous down here. If Bellamy wasn't here, we would be dead anyways. He is one of us. One of The 100. He should be pardoned for his crimes too, just like the rest of us." I grabbed Bell's hand.
"I appreciate your point of view," Jaha told me, "but it isn't that simple."
"It is," Bell spoke up, "if you wanna know who in the Ark wants you dead." Jaha was quiet and looked down for a minute. A second later he looked up again.
"Bellamy Blake... you're pardoned for your crimes." We all smiled to ourselves before Jaha went on, "now... tell me who gave you the gun."
"Shumway." We said at the same time.I followed Bellamy into his tent, both still smiling. "Can't believe it." Bellamy sighed in relief.
"You better do." I said and flung my arms around his neck, he hugged back.
"Olivia?" He said and pulled back to look in my eyes, "I-I love you, Queen." My eyes widened, in an instant I pulled him in and just kissed him. It wasn't a need-kiss, nor was it just a kiss. No, this was a loving kiss. It didn't last long before I pulled back. "Bellamy," I looked deeply in his brown eyes, "I love you too." He smiled to himself once more, before I kissed him again, "King." I whispered against his lips.
"So can we share a tent from now on?" Bell asked.
"Yeah, let's do that."
