"This is Raven Reyes and Olivia Kane calling Ark-Station." Raven said over and over again in the radio.
"Try that frequency," I said. Raven and I were trying to get that radio to work, I owe her that.
"You're pretty good as mechanic." Raven said to me, "where did you learn it?"
"I just know a little bit from a lot of stuff." I smiled, "that's my secret."
"No, you're lying." Clarke intertwined in the conversation, "you know a lot from a lot of stuff." I rolled my eyes playfully, Raven nodded and tried the radio again.
"This is Raven Reyes and Olivia Kane, please come in, Ark-Station." Again there was no answer. And it went on and on and on like this for another hour."We must have the right frequency now." I stated, "what are we doing wrong?" I was pretty stressed out already at the moment.
"Calling Ark-Station, please come in." Raven tried again, but like always: no answer. Out of frustration I slammed my fist on the table. "You know what," Raven said, "take a break, I got this."
"Are you sure?" I asked and she nodded, "thanks Raven." I was about to stand up when a voice talked from over the radio, "please identify yourself." Raven did as told, I kept quiet.
"Is my son alive?" The Chancellor asked.
"Wells is dead," Clarke answered, "I'm sorry."
"And my daughter Olivia?" I heard my father voice, "is she there?"
"Yes, dad," I answered and took a deep breath, "I'm alive."
"Good." My father said and sounded like he was relieved.
"Clarke," I heard Abby's voice. She is the best doctor on the Ark, and Clarke's mother, "I'm gonna help you through it step by step. We're gonna safe your friend Finn.""Olivia?" Octavia said, I looked up saw her standing in front of me, "you want some Moonshine?" I sat in one of the corners of the Drop Ship, waiting for the storm to pass by, and watched Clarke helping Finn. "Yes, please." I replied. She handed me a small glass of the alcoholic liquid.
"Is Bellamy back yet?" I asked, while she sat down besides me. Bellamy had told me to stay here in the Drop Ship, instead of going with him to pick up the Grounder.
"I wanted to ask you the same." Octavia said.
"Can I ask you something personal?" I suddenly said.
"Give it a shot." She told me.
"Okay," I took a deep breath, "no one has a brother on the Ark-"
"I thought we were over this." Octavia playfully snapped.
"Yes, but... how? You were raised under the floor. How did they find you?"
"My mother," Octavia told me, "she used to sorta sell her body. In return she got the information about the random searches, so I could hide on time."
"Then how did they find you?"
"Unity Day. One year ago. Bellamy wanted me to come, it was a masqueraded dance, so it would be safe," she sighed, "it was fun, until there came a random search. They found me, locked me up, and floated my mother."
"I'm sorry for your loss." I told her.
"Well, dunno if you heard anything from the fight I had with Bellamy," I shook my head, she took another deep breath and looked down, "he told me his life ended the day I was born."
"Really?" I asked in disbelief, but at the same time I felt my temper rise, she nodded and let out a sob. I gave her a hug to comfort her.
"The truth is finally there." She sighed and pulled back.Right in that moment Bellamy walked into the Drop Ship, a few others dragged the Grounder from the cave along. "May I yell at your brother for being an idiot and saying such thing?" I asked Octavia, and she nodded with a slight, sad smile on her face. "Hey, Bellamy!" I shouted and walked away from O, "what the hell did you say to your sister?"
"That's not your business." Bellamy said and we both knew he had a point.
"And what the hell are you doing with that Grounder?"
"This was your idea, Queen," Bell said, "pretty good idea."
"Your idea?" Octavia said as she walked over.
"This is not what I meant," I said, "so what are you gonna do with him?"
"It's time for some answers." Bell replied.
"You mean revenge?" Octavia said sarcastic.
"I mean intel." Bell told her, "get him upstairs."
"Bellamy," Clarke said, "she's right."
"Clarke, we're ready," Abby said over the radio. Bellamy looked confused up.
"In case you didn't notice: Raven fixed the radio." I said to Bell.
"Look," Clarke said to Bell, "this is not who we are. Leave the Grounder alone."
"This is who we are now." Bell stated and climbed up the ladder. Half way up he stopped and looked down at me, "are you still on my side or what?"
"I am, Bell." I sighed. He nodded climbed the rest of the ladder. I attempted to do that same, but Clarke grabbed my wrist and said: "don't use everything that's up here," she pointed at my head, "to help that guy."
"Someone's gotta keep that guy from doing stupid things, like getting revenge." I told her and climbed the ladder.
