Kate and I are sitting on the couch together watching some sit-com on tv when someone knocks on the door. That must be Josè with our diner. I'm just starting to get up when Kate shoves me back onto the couch. "I'll get it!" She jumps up and runs over to the door, ripping it open. "Josè, you're here!" She greets him, holding the door open for him and shutting it behind him. "And you brought dinner!" She exclaims, always enthusiastic about food. "I said I would, didn't I?" He sets the Chinese takeout bag on the couch next to me, then moves to sit by me. "Hey, Ana." He smiles, a little too friendly at me and I blush. "Hi, Josè." Kate rolls her eyes when Josè isn't looking, making me giggle. Then we all dig into our takeout, making small talk while we watch tv. "When are you guys moving again?" Josè asks, eyeing the packed boxes around us. "Saturday." Kate answers, between bites of rice. "This is our last night in the apartment." I add, letting the realization sink in as I look around at all our boxes of stuff. "That's crazy. It's gonna be so weird going to your new apartment to hang out now." Kate nods in agreement. "God, I know. Ana and I were just talking about that earlier while we were packing." I nod, confirming her statement, my mouth full of fried rice.

Around ten o'clock Josè heads home, leaving Kate and I alone in the house. "Alright, You ready to go to bed?" Kate asks, after shutting the door behind Josè. She turns to look at me and sees that I'm starting to cry. "Oh, Ana, what's wrong?" She asks. "Nothing... it's stupid." I try frantically to wipe the tears away from my eyes before I can embarrass myself further. "Is it nothing or is it stupid?" I gnaw on my lower lip. "It's stupid. I just... I'm really gonna miss this place. I mean we've had so many memories here." I sigh, looking down at the floor. "That's not stupid, Ana. I'm gonna miss it too. Remember the time Josè tripped up the stairs then vomited on himself last march?" I can't help but laugh thinking about it. Spring Break 2010 was a wild one for all of us, especially Josè. "Spring break bitches!" She yells, mimicking Josè's voice from that night. "You know if you're gonna tell stories about people vomiting on themselves you might want to mention the hundred times you've done it." I point out. "I'll admit I've had more than my fair share of drunken mishaps, but it definitely wasn't anywhere near that many." She says. "Mmhh... it was pretty close. At least ninety-nine." She smiles at my teasing. "Now, That's more like it!" We both giggle. "What about the time freshman year when Ethan brought his girlfriend over to visit?" I internally groan at the memory. "Ugh, Jessica." We both wince at her name, then burst into a fit of giggles. "That girl was a bitch." Kate says. "A mega-bitch" I correct. "Oh and then there was that model Josè brought by." She uses finger quotation marks around model because the girl had only modeled once in her life and that was for Josè's photography project. Although she had the ego of the new winner of Americas Next Top Model. "What was her name, I forget? Allie?" I nod. "Yeah, that's it." I confirm. "Jesus." She snorts. "And let's not forget the hulk." I nudge Kate's shoulder and she groans, burying her face in her hands. "God, that was awful. I can't believe I actually slept with him." The hulk was one of Kate's first boyfriends freshman year. To this day neither of us can remember his name, but we've referred to him as the hulk since they broke up on Valentine's Day and he 'Hulk-smashed' Kate's Valentine's Day gift. "You're lucky you didn't date all through college like I did. It's not worth all the regret and shame after." She rubs her face in her hands. "It makes for some crazy stories though." I smile. "Besides, it wasn't all bad. There were some good ones." I add, thinking back on some of Kate's nicer sexual partners. "Like the dude from the one night stand who made us both breakfast after even though it was like four in the morning." Kate laughs, covering her mouth with her hand. "Oh, god. Let's not start talking about all my one night stands or we'll be up till four in the morning and they'll be no one making us breakfast." She says. "Fair enough. What would you like to talk about?" I ask. "How about our new apartment?" She suggests. "I'm sure we'll make plenty more embarrassingly hilarious memories there." I smile at the possibilities. "Yeah, but I bet we'll also make some really good ones." She winks suggestively at me and I blush.
"I hope so." I whisper to myself. Kate smiles and I know that whisper wasn't entirely to myself. "Alright, Miss Steele. I'm gonna go make you some tea so you can calm down for bed." She then gets up and disappears into the kitchen. A few minutes later, she returns with my tea. She hands it to me careful not to spill it, then sits back down next to me. I take a few sips of my tea in silence, forcing myself to think calm, peaceful thoughts. "Better?" Kate asks, after I set my tea cup down on the coffee table. "Much. Thanks, Kate." I smile at her. "Good. Now, just focus on relaxing." She whispers, sweeping my hair over to the side and placing one hand on each of my shoulders. She gently begins massaging my shoulder blades, making me groan. I relax under her hands as she continues rubbing all down my back. Her hand slips under my shirt, methodically rubbing my arms, shoulders, down my spine, them up to my neck. Her hands moves around to my front now and she ever so slowly removes my bra and replaces it with her hands. I bite my lip as her palms knead at my breasts, making me moan. "Mhmm...Kate." I push her hands away and reach for her hips, pulling her on top of me. She smiles at my boldness, then leans in and kisses me. We spend the rest of that night making even more good memories on that couch.

Authors Note; Sorry it's been a few days since I updated. I've been sick and I'm also writing other fanfictions at the same time as this one so I occasionally alternate which ones I'm writing.
