The gang had to head back to Dallas, well some of them had to and then the rest stayed in Tulsa. The day before some of them left they came by the hospital. "We are here to see, Faith Borden." Ty told the lady at the front desk. "Sorry, we aren't allowing anyone to see her today." She informed them. "Why not?" Navvy asked. "I don't know all the details, but the doctors said as of last night she wasn't doing so well, so they aren't allowing any friends or family to see her for a while." The lady explained. "Will she be alright?" Mason asked. "I don't know, Sorry," The lady said. "Thank you." Ty nodded and they went back outside.

Later that night the only ones that stayed where Mason, Dylan and HiJack. "What do you think happened last night?" HiJack asked. "To Faith, I mean." "No clue, but I am going to find out." Mason slipped on his shoes and walked out of the room before Dylan and HiJack could question.

I didn't know what time it was, but I just laid in bed, awake. It was kinda cold because I told the nurse to keep the window open, earlier it was really hot. A minute later I heard something or someone bump the table.

"Hello?" I whispered. I started to get a little scared, and started breathing harder. "Who's there?" I asked. "It's Mason," I heard him say. "Mason, what are you doing here?" I asked. "They wouldn't let us see you today, so I had to know if you were alright." Mason explained. "Yea, I... um... haven't been doing so well." I hesitated to tell him.

"How did you get in here?" I asked, suddenly. "I used my knife to cut the screen of the window." We both sat there for a second when I realized I couldn't breathe. "Mason," I tried to get some air, but none came. "Mason, I can't breathe," I barely got out, it felt like I was choking on something. "Faith! Hey calm down, just a minute, hold on." Mason told me, he completely forgot about the button and just went into the hall and yelled for the doctors to come in.

The doctors hadn't come in yet and Mason was by my side again. I couldn't breathe and I was not able to keep my eyes open and then I was out, I couldn't think or do anything.

"Faith!" Mason shook me and the doctors told him to step away. One of the doctors got one of those electricity things and was trying to shock me awake. It didn't work the first couple of times but then by about the fifth time I woke up. I sat up quick and asked for Mason. He walked over and stood next to the bed and I leaned up against him and he put his arms around me and I couldn't stop myself from crying.

After the doctors saw that I was alright with Mason being there they said he could stay and then they left. I was laying on my right side and Mason was sitting next to the bed in a chair, his hand on my shoulder. "How long was I out?" I asked him. "About a minute, why?" He told me. "It felt like a lot longer than that." I started to explained to him. "I remembered everything though, all the stuff I didn't remember before just all came back suddenly." I continued. "Mason?" I asked. "Yea," He sounded like he was worried. "How long do you think I will have to stay here?" I asked. "I don't know," He answered. "I hate it here; I don't know anyone or what anything looks like or where I am exactly." I started. "I'll talk to the doctor and see if he will let you come home sooner rather than later." He told me, and I smiled then we both fell asleep.

The next morning Mason came back to the hospital. "I need to talk to doctor O'Brient." Mason told the lady at the front desk. "Follow me," She got up and walked around the desk, to where Mason was and kept walking. "He is in his office." She pointed to a room and walked away. Mason opened the door and saw Dr. O'Brient sitting at a computer. "Can I help you?" He asked. "Yes, I need to talk to you about Faith." Mason started. "She is miserable here and she wants to go home, and I think that it will help her get better if she goes home." Mason continued. "I don't think..." Dr. O'Brient started before Mason interrupted. "Please sir, she hates it here. Can't we just try and if she doesn't get better than we will bring her back and keep her here until she is better." Mason debated. "How old are you son?" Doctor O'Brient asked Mason. "I will be eighteen in September." Mason answered.

I heard the door open and people walk in. "Faith, you remember me, doctor O'Brient. Your friend Mason has convinced me that you would get better quicker if you went back home." He told me. "So we have made a deal. If you don't show any signs of improvement in a month you will come back here and you will stay here until you are better. If you do get better than you will be allowed to stay home. Is that alright with you?" He asked me. "Yes, sir," I nodded and him and Mason helped me off the bed. "Here are some sunglasses for you and Mason make sure she doesn't run into anything." Dr. O'Brient smiled. "I won't let her run into anything sir." "Oh yes and here is some medication that she needs to take, one in the morning and one at night. The side-affects are listed on the tag on the bottle and what to do. If you have any questions, please call." The doctor handed Mason the bag and we left.

We walked out of the room and into the parking lot. "What month is it?" I asked out of the blue. "April, why?" Mason asked. "Just wondering," I told him. "You know what I realized," He started. "What?" I smiled. "We were in the cave on your birthday," He told me. "Oh yea, I guess we were in the Oklahoma on my birthday." I remembered. "I completely forgot, but why does it matter now March sixth is long gone." I said matter of factly. "Yea I know, hey but now I can teach ya how to drive, since you are sixteen and I am seventeen, so I have my license." He said. "I think we should wait until I can see again," I laughed. "Sounds good," He helped me into the car and we drove the whole four hours back to Dallas.

We talked a lot of the way and the other part I was asleep or we were just quiet. "Thanks for convincing the doctor that I should go home." I told Mason. "No problem," He said. "We are almost there, we just past McKinney, so we got about half an hour left." He told me.
