Madison hung up the phone. Her heart fell out of her chest after finding out that Kris was involved in a car accident. She prayed to god that he was okay. She grabs her purse and keys and heads to the garage to get her car. She get's in and opens the door backing out and then cloeses it again. She heads to the hospital. She arrives in record time and pulls into a parking spot. She gets out locking the doors and runs into the Emergency room.
"Can I help you." The receptionist asks.
"I am Dr. Madison Grey and I am looking for my patient Kristopher Letang. He was just brought in by ambulance." Madion says.
"Okay I will let you back Dr. Grey." They say.
They let her into the ER. She goes to the closest nurse she could find.
"I am looking for a paitent Kristopher Letang." Madion says.
"Oh yeah they just brought him via ambo. They just put him in exam room 58." The nurse says.
"Thanks." Madison says.
"Dr. Grey is he your patient?" The nurse asks.
"Yes and my fiancee." Madison says holding up her hand.
"Okay you can go see him." The nurse says.
Madison heads to the room and walks in. Kris was laying on the stretcher.
"Oh god Kristopher." Madison says going over to him.
"Madison." Kris says opening his eyes.
"Yeah baby I am here. Are you okay? What hurts?" Madison says.
"I am fine I think." Kris says.
"Any neck pain?" Madison asks.
"No not right now." Kris says.
"Okay I want them to do an MRI on your neck make sure no damage was done." Madison says.
"OKay. I am glad you are here. I am sorry baby." Kris says grabbing her hand.
"I know we have a lot to talk about." Madison says.
"I see you still have the ring on baby." Kris says.
"I do baby I still love you. I am mad as hell at you but I still love you." Madison says.
The doctor comes back to see him. He order an MRI of the neck among the other things.
They take Kris for the tests. Madison waits for him to get back. A little while later Kris comes back. The doctor comes and goes over the results.
"Everything was negative. And the neck is fine no damage." The doctor says.
"Thank god." Madison says.
"Can I go home?" Kris asks.
"Yeah we are going to release you. We are going to write you for some pain medicine." He says.
They release Kris and him and Madison head home. She stops to get hi prescription filled.
"So what happened?" Madison says.
"I think someone cut my breaks." Kris says.
"Really why?" Madison asks.
"I went to pump them to stop and nothing." Kris says.
"Okay we are going to have them investigate it." Madison says.
She was scared out of her mind. That was when she got the text.
"If I can't have you no one will....... Kris is not the man for you. Dream of me baby because I am coming for you baby and I will take back what is mine." The text read.
"Oh god." Madison says dropping her phone.
"What baby?" Kris says.
"It was Brantley. He cut your breaks. He tried to kill you and now he is coming after me." Madison says.
"We need to call the police baby." Kris says that has to be a violation of his parole.
They call the police and file a report. THey were able to trace the number the text was from. It was offline now but when it came back on they would know where to find him.
Kris and Madison head up to bed it had been a long day. They would talk about their issues in the morning and figure out what would happen from there. Madsion curls up agains Kris despite being pissed as hell at him she didn't feel safe unless she was in his arms.
