Kris, Madison and Micah arrive at the arena.   They take Micah into Madison's office and set him up with his IPad to watch movies while they worked out.

"When does Jasmine come back?" Kris asks Madison.

"Next week." Madison says.

"Good I know doing this is making you extra tired." Kris says.

"It's okay baby I would do anything for you." Madison says.

"Yeah I know." Kris says.

Kris does his stretches.   He then runs on the treadmill and elliptical.

"Doing good baby.  Any pain?" Madison asks.

"Nope none." Kris says.

"Good." Madison says.

"Yeah now what?" Kris asks.

"Ready to skate?" Madison asks.

"Yeah I am." Kris says

They head out to the ice.   Everyone was gone except for Sid.

"Bout damn time you showed up Tanger." Sid says.

"Sorry had to do my exercising first." Kris says.

"Yeah and I had to practice." Sid says.

Kris steps on the ice.   He stood there for a moment living it.   It was the first time he stepped on the game ice since his last game.

"God I miss this." Kris says.

"I know hockey it's in our blood." Sid says.

"Yes." Kris says.

They start to skate.   Kris was getting so much better.    After about 30 minutes Sid pulls out his stick and an extra stick.

"Let's go shoot some pucks at the empty net." Sid says.

"Seriously?" Kris says.

"Yeah Madison said it was okay." Sid says.

"Go head baby." Madison yells.

Kris takes the stick.   Sid drops the puck and lets Kris take a shot.   It was a beauty of one and went right into the net.

"Damn I missed that." Kris says.

"I know so lets get you healed up so that you can be ready for next year." Sid says.

They shoot the puck back and forth at the net.   Kris's shooting had improved with the injury.   After 30 minutes him and Sid head off the ice.

"How does the neck feel now?" Madison asks.

"Good baby.  No pain.   I feel good better than I have in a long time."  Kris says.

"Oh god excuse me." Madison says running into the locker room throwing up into the nearest trash can.

Kris runs after her.   He pulls her hair back out of her face and rubs her back.   Madison throws up everything in her stomach.

"You okay?" Kris asks her.

"Yeah I don't think the Letang twins liked what I had for breakfast." Madison says.

"Here is some Gatorade." Sid says handing her a bottle.

" Thanks Sid." Madison says.

Madison takes small sips.

"Come on baby let's go home so you can rest okay." Kris says.

"You guys going to be at the game tonight?" Sid asks.

"I will be definitely but if Madison isn't feel any better than she won't be." Kris says."

"You go take Madison home and get her resting.  I will bring Micah home and nap with him.:" Sid says.

"You sure?" Kris asks.

"Yeah You have been spending extra time with him." Madison says.

"I know and I don't mind." Sid says.

They all head back to Kris's house.

*************

When they get home Kris carries Madison up to bed laying her on it.

"Get comfortable baby." Kris says.

"Okay." Madison says.

Kris went to get some ginger ale and a basin just in case.   When he came back Madison was laying in one of his practice shirts and a pair of lounge capris.

"Feeling any better baby?" Kris asks.

"A little but not much." Madison says.

She was nauseated.

Kris strips down to his boxer briefs and climbs in bed beside her.   He leans down and kisses her belly twice.

"Guys stop torturing  mama.   She is taking good care of you and letting you grow healthy and strong inside her.  So please let her keep food and drink down." Kris says before kissing her belly again.

"Aww baby keep talking to them.   They hear you and are moving." Madison says putting her head on her belly.

"Hey guys its your daddy.   I can't wait to meet you and hold you and love you.   But you have to keep growing in mommy's belly a little bit longer." Kris says.

He keeps talking to her belly and the twins until they both fall asleep.   Thankfully Madison had set her phone to wake them up a little later to head to the arena for the game.   They sleep until the alarm goes off.
