The next morning Kris and Madison wake up.
"So what is on the agenda today?" Madison asks.
"A surprise baby." Kris says.
"Okay." Madison says.
They get dressed. Madison makes sure they are packed and ready to go.
"We are coming back here to nap before checking out and headed to the airport." Kris says.
"okay baby." Madison says.
They head out of the hotel and head to meet their guide. He was standing with two camels waiting.
"Ready to begin your tour?" The guide asks them.
"Yeah we are ready." Kris says.
"Good hop on." The guide says.
"We are seriously riding a camel?" Madison asks shocked.
"Yes we are baby." Kris says.
He helps her on to the camel. He then gets on behind her.
"There is water in the side pouch. It's in a insulated canteen so it should stay cold. There are three canteens for you both." The guide says. They head off. They visit Zoser's Funerary Complex, also known as the Step Pyramid. It is made out of 6 steps at a height of 60 meters. They get off the camels to take some pictures of them with the Step Pyramid. Kris then goes and climbs it a little of the way up and Madison takes a picture. They then get a picture with their camel for the day.
"His name is Tanger." The guide says.
"Seriously?" Madison asks.
"Yes why?" The guide asks.
"That's my nick name. Everyone calls me that because my last name is Letang." Kris explains.
"To funny." The guide says.
They then get back onto their camels and continue on. They arrive next at the Unas Pyramid Complex, which was built especially for the pharaoh Unas. Kris and Madison again get off their camel to look around and take pictures. They get back on the camel and continue on. They next arrive at the pyramid of Teti. They again get off the camel and take pictures and explore a little before getting back on the camel. They then head to the Tombs of the Nobles, the Philosopher's Circle, and the Tomb of Kagemni. Kris and Madison had gotten off the camel at each location taking pictures an exploring a little.
They then take a rest for lunch where they are able to savor some delicious Egyptian food of falafel or grilled meat . Along with the falafel and grilled meat they also ate lots of small appetizers so they can get a taste of quite a few new foods since they are new to Egypt. They then head out to the desert for a safari ride. They head back to the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx from the outside and an all together different view where they capture some pretty impressive shots as you marvel at them from afar.
They also get to see some other pretty neat stuff like the Keops Pyramid, Kefre, the second pyramid, a tour of Memphis, the oldest capital for many kings who ruled Egypt. They see the biggest statue of King Ramses the second, the famous King of Egypt who was supposed to be King of exodus. They then explore the open museum at Memphis to see more statues of many Gods and Goddesses such as Goddess Hathor. They then head to Dahshur to get inside the Red Pyramid (the oldest true pyramid in history) and see the Bent Pyramid (the most preserved pyramid). Some other places they see were the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the Mohamed Ali Mosque, the Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary) , Citadel (Al-Qalaa),the Mosque of Ibn Tulun and the El-Ghuri Wakala . They head back to their hotel.
