Chapter 163: Workouts, Hockey and Relaxing by the pool

The next morning Kris woke up before Madison.   Him, Sid and Geno went for a run together and then came back and worked out some in Geno's gym.

"Man I am so glad that I can do this again." Kris says.

"Yeah us too.   We need you back man. "Sid says.

"Yes do.  Even though got Reeves." Geno says.

"Yeah I saw that we drafted him." Kris says.

"Yeah will be good for us. "Sid says.

"So what's on the agenda today?" Kris asks.

"Relax.  Know you Madison tired." Geno says.

"Yeah we are.  It was a long but fun trip." Kris replies.

They finish their work outs.   They then head up to make breakfast for the girls.   As they were cooking Anna, Nadia and Madison trickle out into the kitchen.   Anna had put Nikita in his walker letting him run around.   Micah was in the living room watching something on his IPad.

The boys finish breakfast as the girls set the table.  They then all sit down and eat.

"Can we go play hockey today?" Micah asks.

"Sure buddy that sounds good." Kris says.

"I am down. "Sid adds.

"Me too." Geno agrees.

They finish eating and clean up.  They let Ashes out and feed her.  They then head to rink where Geno used to play when he was growing up.   They go inside.   No one was on the ice so they had it all to themselves.   They all lace up their skates.   Madison helped Micah with his.  They all head out onto the ice and started a game of pick up Hockey.   Madison, Nadia lace up their skates.   Anna was watching because she had Nikita and she wasn't ready for him to be out on the ice just yet.   They had Madison in one goal and Nadia in the other.   Sid and Micah were on one team and Kris and Geno were on the other.   They start the game.   Kris and Geno ended up scoring on Sid and Micah first.   The puck went right by Nadia.

"Baby really?" Sid says.

"Sorry I wasn't going to dive for a puck.  Kris has a hell of a shot." Nadia says.

They continue the game.  Sid goes down and attempts to score but Madison caught the puck.

"Damn." Sid says.

"Nice try Captain. "Madison says.

They battle back and forth for an hour and half.   The score endeed up being 4-2.   Kris and Geno beat Sid and Micah but Micah scored the two goals.

"That was fun even though we lost." Micah says.

"Yeah it was." Sid says.

The guys then spend an hour more teaching Micah the fundamentals of hockey.  They teach him stick handling and how to control the puck.   Kris then starts to work on him with defense.    Micah was getting really good at skating.  He was even doing okay skating backwards.

"He is definitely Kris's kid." Nadia says.

"Yes he is.  He is a natural out there on the ice." Anna agrees.

"I know.  Looks like we might have to build him an outdoor rink at both houses." Madison says laughing.

"Oh Kris would love that." Anna says.

"Hell yeah and I would never see my husband.   He would be over there all the time.  They would be having practice after practice." Nadia says.

"I know and Geno would be right there with them." Anna says.

Finely the boys get off the ice.

"Pizza on way home." Geno says.

"Sounds good." Madison says.

Geno called the pizza's in as they left the rink and picked them up on the way home.   They arrive back at Geno's.  Madison lets Ashes out and then feeds her.   They then sit down and eat the pizza together watching some TV.   After they eat Anna puts Nikita to bed and when she returns  they play a few games of Wii Hockey with Micah until it was time for him to go to bed.    While Madison was putting Micah down Kris and the rest of them had changed into their bathing suits.   Madison puts hers on and joins them out by the pool.   It was a nice night out perfect weather.  Madison, Nadia and Anna were floating in the pool on mats just relaxing they had dozed off.

Kris, Sid and Geno were sipping beers watching them.

"Should be get in there and wake them up?" Sid asks being the mischievous one for once.

"Yeah wake them up and have fun." Kris says.

"Oh yeah." Geno says.

 The guys quietly got into the pool taking the stairs.   They gently swam over to the deep end where the girls were.   They each stand by the matts their girls were on

"1, 2, 3," Sid counts and then the boys all flip the mats sending the girls under the water.

A few seconds later the girls come up sputter water.

"Kristopher Allen Letang." Madison yells scolding him.

"Sidney Patrick Crosby I am going to throttle your ass." Nadia yells at him.

"Evgeni Vladimirovich Malkin you are in big trouble mister." Anna yells at him too.

They girls splash the guys which caused a huge splashing war which led to them dunking each other.   They started to laugh just having fun.   Geno grabbed a ball and they did three on three volley ball.   The girls ended up beating the guys.

"Wow we got our asses kicked by them. "Sid says.

"Only right after the stunt earlier.   You are lucky that I love you and forgive you." Nadia says to Sid.

"Yeah Evgeni.  But if you ever pull something like that again I am going to kick your butt." Anna says.

"Yes Kristopher.   I will kick your butt too." Madison says.

They spend a little bit more time in the pool playing and carrying on before getting out to dry off.   Geno lights a fire and they sit around it talking and laughing.  Once the fire burnt out they all head into the house to change out of their swimsuits and get ready for bed.

Madison let Ashes out for the night and then met Kris back in their room.  Madison changed out of her suit.

"Baby in the bathroom." Kris says.

Madison goes in.  He had a bath read for her.

"Aww baby how did you know I was achy and wanted to take a bath." Madison asks.

"Just a feeling." Kris says.

"Will you get in with me?" Madison asks.

"Yes baby." Kris says helping her into the tub.

He then slides in behind her.  He turns on the jets letting them massage them both.   Madison leans back against him laying her head on his shoulder.

Kris had set his phone for an hour and half.   They closed their eyes enjoying the water.   When Kris's alarm goes off they get up and shower quickly.   They then get out.   Kris wraps her robe around her and then puts his on.   They head out to the bedroom and get into bed.

"I love you Mads." Kris says kissing her.

"I love you too Tangs. "Madison says between kisses.

They end up making love a few times before falling asleep snuggled together.
