"...and then he grabbed my hand as we walked back to our stuff," I tell Mikayla. She takes a bite of her biscuits and gravy. We decided
to take our breakfast up to our room, so I could tell her every detail about last night without worrying about Tyler hearing.

"So it was a date?" Mikayla asks.

I shrug. "I don't know anymore if I'm to be honest," I tell her. "Now let me tell you the rest of the story without any interruptions. This is where things start to go down hill."

"Did he come out as gay, or something?" She asks sarcastically.

I continue the story, ignoring her question. "We then sat and ate our tacos. When we were done, Tyler laid down and looked at the stars. I did the same."

"This doesn't seem that bad," Mikayla says.

"Shush!" I clear my throat. "I said something about stars being pretty, so he turned and asked me if I knew what else was beautiful."

Mikayla shakes her head. "Did he say Josh?"

I glare at her. She puts her hands up. "I'm sorry, but Joshler is my life."

"You don't have a life," I point out.

"Whatever, just tell me the rest of the story," Mikayla says eagerly.

"He waited a while and then said Taco Bell. Me -being the over emotional human being I am- almost started crying and ruined the night!" I finish the story.

Mikayla tries to comfort me. "It still sounds like you both had a lot of fun! At least you weren't miserable the whole time."

"I know," I sigh. "I just don't want things to be this awkward between Tyler and I."

"(Y/N), everything about you is awkward, and that's one reason people love you." Mikayla finishes the rest of her food.

"Do you think I should text Tyler?" I ask nevously.

"Yes! If you don't, he might start to that you hated last night and want nothing to do with him," Mikayla warns me.

"Okay." I pull out my phone and begin to text Tyler, my thumbs moving across the screen rapidly.

"Thanks for last night! I had a blast!"

Mikayla watches over my shoulder as we wait for Tyler to respond.

"Np I'm glad you came"

"Well that was an exciting conversation," I say sarcastically, about to turn my phone off and put it back into my back pocket.

"You have to keep the conversation going." Mikayla gives me a serious look.

"Fine." I roll my eyes and text Tyler again. We text back and forth. The awkward feeling between Tyler and I dissappears as we talk like we usually do.

"How's breakfast?"

Tyler texts me back.

"Lonely. You're supposed to be my breakfast buddy, but you're not here"

"I'm in my room with Mikayla. You can come up or I can go down"

"You're not supposed to tell him I'm here!" Mikayla says. "Now he'll act less flirty and the conversation will get boring!"

I look back towards her. "Do you want me to tell him that you left, then?" I ask.

"You invited him up here, so he'll see me if he comes," Mikayla says, placing her plastic fork down on her plate. "He'll know that you were lying."

"He probably won't come up here, anyways," I point out.

My phone buzzes as I receive a reply from Tyler. I open it, expecting for it to prove what I said true. It didn't.

"I'm bringing my cinnamon rolls up with me"

"I suddenly remembered that I have to go do something," Mikayla lies, walking towards the door.

"Where are you going?" I ask her.

"Out of here so you and Tyler can be alone together," she says, winking at me.

"Wait!" I say nervously. "I don't even know what to say to him!" I begin to feel a bit panicked.

"You've talked to him a lot already. You'll be fine," she assures me.

I take a deep breath in. "You're right. I can do this!" I tell her, but it's more to make myself believe it.

"Don't forget to tell me everything that Tyler does. I need some inspiration for some Joshler fanfictions," Mikayla jokes.

I roll my eyes. "You aren't helping much." She laughs as she walks out the door.

I once again text Tyler.

"Mikayla had to go. It's only me now"

"That's too bad. I guess I'll just eat alone in my own room"

"Ha ha ha."

A few minutes later, Tyler knocks on my door. I open it and let him. He enters with cinnamon rolls towering on top of his plate. "Isn't that a little much?" I ask.

"I'm on vacation, so the calories don't count," Tyler says, putting his plate down on the table. He wrinkles his nose with a look of disgust. "Please tell me that's not your banana " he says pointing at the banana peel on Mikayla's plate.

I shake my head. "It's not."

"That's a relief," Tyler says. "I would have to stop talking to you if it was."

Tyler sits down at the table and I sit across from him. I eat some of his cinnamon rolls since I already finished all if my own breakfast. The whole time we talk, something seems to be bothering Tyler.

"Are you feeling alright?" I ask Tyler after he finishes telling a story of something that happened while he was on his last tour.

"Yeah, why?" Tyler asks. I don't entirely believe him.

I shrug my shoulders. "It just seems like there's something bugging you."

He rubs the back of his neck and looks down at his plate. "Actually something is," he admits, avoiding eye contact.

"Tyler, do you-" I begin to say.

He cuts me off before I can finish. "It's what I said last night."

I tilt my head. "What do you mean?"

"What I really wanted to say to you was that you're beautiful," Tyler says, finally looking up at me.
