"So how would you like to meet some of my fans?" Tyler asks after finishing his sandwich.
I stand up and throw away our trash. "I'm not really the one they'd like to meet."
"Could you please stay for a bit? I love them, but they can be pretty..." Tyler pauses to think of a nice way to put it, "passionate at times."
"I'll stand next to you, but I don't think it will help much," I tell him, still standing next to the trash can.
Tyler smiles at me, looking relieved. "It'll help a lot," he assures me.
I begin to blush, remembering when he called me beautiful. Why do I have to think about that now when he's right there? I turn my head the other direction to try and hide the fact that my face is the same color as the bright red walls of the room.
Tyler leads me out of the room and back to wear the fans are waiting. Some people must have gotten tired of waiting because there is a lot less people than there was earlier.
Tyler begins to meet with the fans. They all gush about how excited they are to meet him and Tyler has the biggest grin on his face as he gives them hugs and takes pictures with them.
I don't feel awkward at all just standing to the side and watching. It feels great to be here and witness some of these fans biggest dreams come true. It reminds me of how before this vacation I was just a fan who would die to meet Tyler or Josh, but now I consider Tyler a good friend of mine. How did I get so lucky?
After Tyler hugs the last fan goodbye, I walk over to him. He gives me a big hug. "I've been waiting to hug this fan all day," he jokes.
"Oh my Josh! I'm so Dun! I can't believe I'm meeting you!" I play along.
"Hey, I love my fans; you better not be making fun of them," Tyler playfully warns me.
"Don't worry. I'm making fun of myself from before I actually got to know you," I tell him.
"Thank you for staying so long," Tyler says. "Having you here was a blast!"
"No, it was the most boring thing ever," I say, crossing my arms over my chest.
Tyler sighs. "You still haven't given up on the deal we made?"
I shake my head. "I've got to win this. I don't like losing."
"You know what's not boring, bringing me food and hanging out with me while I meet some fans," Tyler says.
"What's boring is not having anything fun or exciting going on, so I can bring someone food with no warning," I point out.
Tyler puts his hands on his hips. "I refuse to leave this vacation without making you believe that you're not boring."
I roll my eyes. "Then you're going to have a really long vacation."
"Well-" Tyler begins to say before he's cut off.
"Hey, we're closing the store early today and I can't lock the doors while you two are here," the man working at the store says.
"We'll be on our way out in a second," Tyler promises him.
"That guy is a little rude," I say. I keep my voice low so only Tyler can hear.
"Yeah," Tyler agrees. We both head out of the store. The man also leaves after locking the door.
"We just got kicked out of a store; that's not boring," Tyler points out.
"I wouldn't call it getting kicked out," I say. "More like asked to leave."
"Same thing," Tyler says. "So how much do I owe you?" He changes the topic.
I shake my head. "No, it's fine. I'll pay for it."
Tyler starts to pull out his wallet. "Paying you back is the least I could do after asking you to drive all the way out here."
"No, you've already paid for a few of my meals, and it's time I return the favor," I insist.
"Okay," Tyler smiles at me. "I would offer you dinner since it's getting late, but I've already got plans."
"It's fine," I tell him. "I think Kylie and Jordyn planned something for tonight anyways."
"Well, I guess I'll see you later," Tyler says. He steps back and waves to me.
"Bye Tyler!" I begin to walk away also. We both walk in opposite directions to our own cars.
As I'm driving back to the hotel, I think about the time I spent with Tyler. "I guess he's trying to make me believe I'm lovely," I mumble to myself. Half of me is internally groaning at how bad of a joke it was, but the fangirl part of me wants to scream out as loud as I can.
After going out to eat with my friends, I collapse on my bed and fall fast asleep, exhausted from my day.
A/N:
Yay! I actually wrote something! Sorry of this chapter isn't too great. Things have been a lot better lately and I'm hoping I'll be able to write more often. I'm going to delete my big author's note because I'm hopefully going to be posting more frequently and it doesn't really affect much now. Thanks again for all the support! You all are amazing! See ya in the next chapter!
