Emerald's POV

"Emerald? Is that you?" I slowly turn around. I know that voice.

I'm right. It's him, It's Christian.

"Oh, Christian.. H-Hi." God, I internally facepalmed. Why am I acting like I'm meeting my ex after a long time?

I look at him from head to toe and one thing surprised me, he's not wearing  a dress. He's wearing a jeans and a stripes long sleeves.

"Uhm, let's go to our table, shall we?" He smiled awkwardly. Why on earth are we acting like ex-lovers?!

He talked with a crew for a minute at nang matapos na sila magusap ay sinabi ng crew na sundan na lang siya papunta sa table namin.

When we arrived to our table, I sit down and so did he. The atmosphere is awkward as hell so I tried to initiate a conversation.

"So, you're not gay anymore?" I asked  direct to the point.

"What? Of course I still am. That's the only thing that would never change." He let out a small laugh. 

"Then, why aren't you wearing your favorite type of clothing, a dress?"

"Bakit? Trip ko eh, chareng. I just don't think that it wouldn't be really good to reunite with my bestie while wearing a dress right?" Natawa naman ako sa sinabi niya.

"Oh c'mon, you wore a dress in a burial, sa harap ng maraming tao. Then, sa akin nahiya ka pa?" Gumaan ng kaunti ang atmosphere.

"Anyway, do you know why Lolo let us meet?" Tanong ko wondering if he already knew.

"Hindi ko alam eh. Bayaan mo na yung reason niya! Ang mahalaga we meet again right? I missed you Em! Y'know what? I have a boyfriend!" Sa Pangalawang beses ngayong araw ay napantig uli ang tenga ko.

"I love him and he loves me too! Gusto kong makilala mo siya as soon as possib--" Dadada pa sana siya pero I cut him off.

"We're getting married." Ayoko ng paligoy-ligoy. Napanga-nga siya sa sinabi ko and the next thing he did was really annoying. He laughed out loud.

"Oh, C'mon Em, what are you talking about? We're cousins kaya!" Tawa pa siya ng tawa at may papunas pa siya ng luha sa gilid ng mata niya dahil sa sobrang tawa.

"I'm serious. Your crazy old man is desperate to make you straight again."
"San naman kaya niya nakuha ang idea na if I marry a girlalu ay didiretso na ang nota kech?" Hindi ko alam kung matatawa ba ako dahil napapa-gay lingo na siya sa frustration o kakabahan kasi he's asking na.

"Ah.. Ano, kasi." God, sabi ko gusto ko ng straight to the point but why can't I straighten my tongue up? Napalunok naman ako ng wala sa oras kasi I know he's going to get angry.

"Was it you?" Kalmado boses niya pero iba eh. Pinawisan na ako ng malamig.

Hindi ako sumagot at napacross arms naman siya at inulit niya pa ang tanong niya.
