Emerald's POV

"What on Earth?!" Napasigaw na talaga ako. I don't care if someone hears us. Agad naman niyang tinakpan yung bibig ko at tinapat yung index finger niya sa tapat ng bibig niya, signalling me to keep quiet.

"Natural lang 'yon, gaga! We're a newly wed couple, what do you expect?" Sabi niya with the matter if fact tone.

"Hindi ako titira in a house with you! Never, especially after everything you've done." Nanggigigil talaga ako sa baklang ito, jusko.

"Kulit mo naman kausap, kaloka ha? Duh, as in capital D-U-H! We MUST live together whether we like it or not. Arti mo gurl ah." Inirapan naman niya ako and that made my blood boils even more. He got a point. We definitely must live under one roof or everyone will get suspicious lalo na't kami na ang trending topic sa social medias even on newspaper.

I glared at him. "Look, I know you don't care about anything aside from your shitty boyfriend and the financial support lolo will give you but please! Do remember na may contract tayo. I'll let your boyfriend in terms of our rule sa 'No flings'." Mukhang nasaktan naman siya sa sinabi ko but I definitely don't care..

Well, slight lang naman. I feel a little bit guilty.

"I..I'm sorry." My eyes widen from shock. Wow! It took him almost 24 hours just to say sorry?

"Don't say something you don't mean." At tapos non ay pumasok na ako sa kotse ko.

I know I was very mean but his words hurt me! His actions hurt me! Umpisa nung he chose his boyfriend's side. It oddly hurts.

Pinaharurot ko na yung kotse ko to my condo. I guess, I need to pack my belongings na huh? I'll just ask lolo's P.A some other details about us--Christian and me living together.

I sighed. Paano nangyari lahat ng 'to? We were the best of friends but now we're acting like real enemies. It hasn't been a month and so many things already happened.

What's more, 13 years apart.

Kinuha ko na yung cellphone ko at ni-lock na ang kotse ko. I went straight ahead to where my room is. This is such a tiring day but unfortunately my day hasn't ended yet.

After the long walk through the hallways, at last! Andito na ako sa kwarto ko. I glanced at my bed.

"Well, hello handsome~" I gigled. I definitely look stupid right now but who cares? It's not like anyone's in here. That's what I believed until someone burst a laughter behind me.

I instantly turned around and saw a handsome looking man wearing a tuxedo. It's Christian.

"How on earth did you get here? Especially before me?!" Is that even possible? Nauna akong umalis sa kaniya sa venue tapos nauna pa siya sakin dito?

"Gurl, I know a short cut and you used the longest way possible." He said and rolled his eyes at me. "I'm here because we will be living together." He said like it's the most obvious thing in the world. Ngayon ko lang na-realise na he has one very large luggage beside him.

"Wha--?! I thought we will have our own house!"

"Yes, we will have! Wag atat, ginagawa pa lang. Grabe ka, I'm sure lolo wants a mansion for us and do you expect a mansion to be build in just few weeks?" At umasa na naman uli ako.

"Sorry na! Tao lang." Sabi ko with sarcasm evident in my tone.

"Hindi kasi nagtatanong. Basta basta na lang nag wa-walk out." Bulong niya at I think sinadya na marinig ko 'yon. With the word walk out, na-trigger ako. Naalala ko yung nangyari sa hospital.

"Who gave you the right to question me walking out of a place I can't bear? Two horrible human being in one room, ha! Hate na hate siguro ako ni tadhana."

"C'mon Emerald, stop acting so bitter! Tapos na kayo ni Michael and please! Stop insulting my boyfriend in front of me." Napanganga ako sa sinabi niya.

"Wow! Stop acting like Michael really loves you! We've been together for five years! I know him better than you do and you know one thing he really loves? Leaving people without any valid reason! If I know, kung wala lang talagang sakit yan, he would be out there playing with other girl's tahong!"

When Michael and I were still together hindi siya mawawalan ng babae. I didn't know that until he broke up with me, I used my connections and I discovered na kahit kami pa ay marami pa sa daliri niya sa kamay ang babae niya.

Michael's a great pretender I must say.

"You know nothing Emerald! He was there when I needed him the most!" Mangiyak-ngiyak na boses ni Christian.

"Yan ka na naman with the you-know-nothing chuchu." I bitterly laugh. "How do you know he's loyal to you? I've seen the hospital, there are many gorgeous nurses there. You're not with him 24/7 and wala ka ng hinahanap niya."

"That's it! I hate you so much Emerald! I don't know you anymore!" Napantig tenga ko.

Paulit-ulit sa utak ko. When Christian and I were still kids this is the last thing I want to hear from him.

"Don't worry Mr. Alvarez, the feeling is mutual. I hate you so much I might puke just from seeing you." I said and with that tumalikod na ako at dumiretso sa C.R

Pagka-sara palang ng pintuan ay nag silabasan na yung luhang kanina ko pa gustong ilabas. I worked hard.
