| Mani in the MM |

Deetranada P.O.V.

Key, Ann, Mani, and I were carpooling to school together in Key's Benz that was finally out of the shop. Temple High was a school I despised so much. I was glad I had a decent amount of people I hung out with outside of school there with me, or else I wouldn't come as much as I do. We were in the middle of November so we still had a while before vacation and before I could roll around in my blue Aston, which I named Ashton, with the top down.

Temp was a raggedy, ratchet ass school. I didn't hang out with anybody there except my regular group of friends. Before we got to school, we had to sell to a regular buyer. He usually paid well too. Me, Ann, and Key waited in the car as Mani made the drop. He came back with a duffle filled with racks.

"Damn, he bought the whole duffle?" I asked.

"Damn right." Mani answered, putting his seatbelt on and swiping his hood off his head.

Key then sped off. We got to school late and went to our separate classes. The next time we'd see each other would be lunch then gym.

I cannot afford anymore tardies, 'fore I mess around and get ISS again, I thought.

I walked into my biology class. The teacher, Ms. Cloud, scoffed once she saw the tardy slip in my hand. I handed it to her and she snatched it from my hand. I rolled my eyes at her and went to my seat in the back of the class. I copied down the notes and just went to sleep. The bell rung and she dismissed us.

This girl, who I noticed to be a freshman, brushed her shoulder against mines.

Her dirty ass better get off me, I thought.

"Excuse you." I said.

"Who the fuck you talking to?" She yelled with an obnoxious voice.

She just try'na to start something. There was no need for her to snap at me like that, I thought.

"I ain't even try'na get into it with your dirty ass." I said calmly.

"Bitch, again, who you talking to?" She asked.

"You, hoe!" I yelled.

"I guess Deetranada feeling all big and bad now." She said causing a scene.

"I don't argue with people whose names I don't know, so you can get on somewhere with your irrelevant self, cause you too young to mess with a junior."

"Bitch, don't make me drag you." She said.

People cooed at her bum ass comment.

"Who you gon' drag besides yourself, cause you looking dirtier than usual hoe. There ain't nobody here who don't know you for everybody." I said, remembering that I'd always see her in the hallway all over a different dude every week or so.

Everybody was yelling, and when I turned to leave, she pulled my braids and started punching me in my face. I got a hold of her hair and dragged it down to the floor with me. I got on her and punched her repeatedly. Somebody pulled me off her. I slipped from their grasp and stomped on her with my black timbs.
