"So he found out?" Ann asked.

"That's what I'm saying, he been knew. He strung me along knowing good and well I was for real feeling him, for what?" I said.

Ann and I were at her house at 3 o'clock about to leave for The Joint around 4 cause we were going to a party in Virginia. We were upstairs in her room sitting on her bed talking.

"How you feel?" She asked.

"At first, I was upset but now I really don't give a fuck," Ann laughed and I continued. "The reason why I don't give a fuck is cause when I was with him, I felt like I was hiding a whole lotta shit from him, and I was, but now we're not together and I feel so free and shit." I said.

"The fact he was playing you - that's not even right." She said, shaking her head in disapproval.

"Like I said, I don't even give a fuck at this point, moe."

"That means you ready to get at Jamon, right?" She asked.

"You want me with him more than you should want me with him." I laughed.

She laughed with me. "It's just y'all would be so cute together and anytime you in the room his face just lights up. It's so cute." She cooed.

"Now you're doing the most."

"But would you be with him?"

"Not now I wouldn't. I'm try'na stay my ass away from commitment with niggas."

"So you gon' be hoein'?" Ann asked.

"I ain't say that." I said.

Her mouth got wide. "You a thot thot." She said with the same flow Migos used in "Bad and Boujee."

Before I could say anything, there was a knock on her locked door. She got up to open it.

"What?" She asked.

"Mummy said for you and Diamond to come eat." Her little brother said.

"We're coming." She said closing the door.

"What he say?"

"You wanna eat?"

"Yeah, not too much though cause you know I gotta save my appetite for that lil party tonight."

"Come on." She said.

We went downstairs. Ann's mom was at the stove dishing Jollof Rice and plantain for her brothers.

"Mummy, after this I'm going to Diamond's house to study for our last final on Monday." Ann lied taking her plate out.

"Hm," She snarled. "you and this your always going out. You will not stay home and take care of your brothers, you know I'm already tired from work." She fussed, dishing her food, then moving over for Ann to dish hers.

"I'll be back later on tonight, then. And T.J. is 14, he can watch them. Thank you." Ann said once she finished dishing her food.
