10/A Very Glee Christmas

it was finally Christmas - Paris Hudson's favorite time of the year. She loved everything about it, the cold, the hot chocolate, the snow. There wasn't one thing she would change about it. Last year Paris couldn't afford a ticket to come home from New York so she spent it with the people who had also didn't go back home for the holidays but this year, Paris was glad she could spend it with her actual family.

When she walked into the Glee room, a smile formed on her face as she heard them singing one of her favorite song from Rudolph. As everyone stood around the Christmas tree she couldn't help but join in as Sam handed her an ornament and Quinn dragged her in between her and Sam as they continued to sing and decorate the tree that they probably found on the side of the road.

Everyone was dancing and singing and putting presents under the tree while the musicians played their instruments, Mr. Schue walked in with a smile on his face as everyone finished singing, "Hey, guys. What's this?" Will asked as they threw that last bit of decorations on the tree and Finn looked at him with a smile.

"We're trying to get into the Christmas spirit, Mr. Schue. Christmas is totally my favorite holiday. And check out this awesome tree. I found it on the side of the road." Finn said and Paris knew that no one would actually go out and buy a Christmas tree for the Glee Club, "It must have fell off some guy's car." Finn shrugged.

"Any ornaments?" He asked as he looked at the over decorated tree that Santana had provided, "The guy who lives next door finally killed off his elderly mother. When they carted him off, they left the house wide open." She explained, "I think she was a holiday hoarder."

"Uh- And the presents?" Will asked as he looked at the neatly wrapped presents that sat under the tree, "I lifted them from a display at the mall. But don't worry. They're empty." Puck said as a small frown formed on Wills face. "Guys, I appreciate the effort, but this isn't what Christmas is supposed to be like."

"For us it is. This tree is like a mascot for Glee Club. We won sectionals two years in a row and according to everyone at this school, we still suck." Mercedes said with a frown as she told everyone how Karofsky and his football friends threw red and green slushies all over her Tina and Mike that morning.

"I'm pretty sure they just added food coloring to real slush from the parking lot." Mike said with a frown as he remembered how bad it smelt, "You can eat that, you know." Lauren said and Paris gave the girl a weird look, wondering why she knew that.

"No." Will said as he sat the mini tree down on top of the piano, "I am not gonna let you guys throw yourselves a pity party. Look, I'm the first one to say that things haven't turned out exactly how I would have liked them to this year. But Christmas is all about being grateful for the things that did."
