I opened the door to John's Pizzeria; four o'clock on the dot. I wanted to know this person was, I wanted to get back to my girl. She woke up with a cold this morning and went back to sleep, all I wanted to do was take care of her for the rest of the day. That is the reason I took the day off work; for her. Walking inside, I decided to order Rose a slice of pizza. I took a seat in a chair at a table, waiting for whoever this unknown person was. Feeling my phone buzz in my pocket, I took it out to answer it.

"Do you feel better, baby?" I answered the phone to Rose who'd just woken up.

"Where'd you go?" I could already tell I would need to stop by the pharmacy for her throat.

"I needed to go out to take care of something, but I'll be back to take care of you." I felt a tap on my shoulder, looking up to see my ex, Selena.

"Ok, Love you." she sniffed.

"Love you too baby." I hung up, staring at Selena. "What are you doing here?" I asked as I took my food in my hand. "You agreed to meet me here remember?" she trailed her index finger down my arm.

"That was you? What the hell is wrong with you?" I couldn't believe she was standing in front of me. Did she not get the fact that I want her out of my life. "Don't worry, I won't keep you from her much longer. But know that tomorrow you will regret everything you said to me." I chuckled. "Stay the fuck away from me." I hissed.

She stepped closer, slightly turning her head to the right, staring intensely. "You don't love me anymore?" this time her eyes displayed honestly. She genuinely wanted to know what I felt for her. "No, I don't think I ever did." I spat coldly, leaning in closer to let her know I meant it. She stepped back sighing. "You'll see me sooner than you think." She turned around, walking away from me, her hair swaying back and forth.

There was something different. Her . . . hair? Half of it was red going down. Wait! "Shit, fuck shit." I grabbed my phone off the table, walking quickly to the car, ignoring the stares that burned into my back.

"She couldn't have." I said to myself as I hopped into my car. Realizing how stupid I was not to see her all this time. Right under my nose, she was at my work place. She must have been on the higher floors where I couldn't have seen her. Rose had an interview with her weeks ago, there's no way she was there for that long and I hadn't noticed. She couldn't have came to work everything day. She's up to something.

What did she mean by "Tomorrow you will regret what you said to me." "You'll see me sooner than you think."

What ever she has planned, it's all going down tomorrow.

Going up the stairs to Rose's house, I realized I forgot her medicine. Opening the door to her house, I stepped in mentally cursing at myself for being so dumb. "Justin, what's wrong?" Rose sounded better than she did before which told me she found some medicine for her throat. "What do you mean?" I sat the bag down on the counter.

She walked up to me, wrapping her arms around my neck. "Well you were cursing at yourself so, what's wrong?" I shook my head. "Nothing's wrong, baby." I placed my hands on her waist, lightly rubbing circles on her skin. "Please don't lie to me." She sighed. She knew me too well.

"I've just had a long day, is all." I ran a hand through my hair. She nodded, soon smirking. "What?" I found it amusing that she was pulling me over to the couch. "Sit." She ordered. I did as I was told and sat down. She bent over and untied my shoes and brought my feet on the couch. She stared to unbutton my shirt, sliding it off my shoulders. "You want to do this now." I smirked as she climbed on top of me. "You need to relax. You took a day off for me and now you have to finish your work at home." she stated.

"So how am I going to relax?" I asked.

She smiled and leaned down to place kisses on my neck. I groaned and moved my head to the right to give her more access. She trailed kisses down my chest, adding her tongue as she got to my abs. When she got to my pants, she unzipped them, sliding them off my legs. My breath hitched as she ran a hand down my boxers, gripping at my hard area. "Fuck," I moaned as she slid her hand into my boxers. I watched as she licked her lips, looking down as she finally took them off.

Everything stopped as someone yelled at the door. Again, my mother coming to visit. As if I wanted her here again. "I know you're in there Justin Drew!"

Rose sighed in irritation as she climbed off of me. "I'm sorry, baby. I'll go see what she wants." She nodded as she sat on the couch, waiting patiently.

I put on my boxers and slipped back into my jeans, not caring to zip them up. "What?" I stared back at my mother. "I came to apologize." She looked down as she spoke. "Really?" I said bluntly, not believing a word that spilled out of her mouth. "Yes, Justin. I want to fix this and I can't if you don't let me in."

"Oh you mean, in here?" I gestured behind me that lead into Rose's house. "Sorry, but we're kind of busy." her eyes scanned me up and down as she scolded.

"I can see that, Justin, but it would be nice if you answered the door dressed." She folded her arms. "What did you really come here for, huh? Did you come here to fuck with my emotions some? Thought you come leave us and come back years later saying sorry." A tear fell from her eyes.

"Well news flash, it's not happening. And you know what?" She shook her head.

"Jazzy's starting middle school and Jaxon is just starting fourth grade, but do you care? No. You've missed half of their life and you don't care. Every time I visit them they tell me how much they miss you." I felt tears start to form. "They're living with their grandparents because you were never there for them. I can't take care of them because I wouldn't be able to be there for them everyday. I got a company to take care of, I'm gone for almost the whole day, all week long. They love you- I love you too, but you don't care. You're too scared to come back because dad was there but he's gone so why did you wait so long?!" I felt myself snapping at her, I wanted to break something. I wanted to punched the walls until my knuckles bleed.

I was starting to freak out with her standing in front of me. She was crying, something I thought I'd never see. "I'm sorry Justin."

I looked down as the tears fell. Then I felt two arms wrap around me, placing a gentle kiss on my neck. "It's okay," Rose whispered in my ear. "I'm here for you." Before I knew it, I began to sob uncontrollably. I've never told anyone about what she did, now Rose is seeing this weaker side of me. It's been a while since I cried like this.

"What happened to your father?" Pattie looked up at me, her eyes puffy like mine. "He's gone." I looked away from her gaze. She knew what I meant by that. "How?" I shook my head, squeezing my eyes shut. "He's a sick bastard, didn't you know he went to jail and died there, but you didn't." I vigorously wiped my face, sniffing as I held onto Rose's hands; bringing them up to kiss her knuckles.

I thanked god for having a woman like Rose.

"I don't know what to say but I'm sorry, for everything. I shouldn't have left you, I lost you as a son when I did that. I love my kids, so much." I nodded, not wanting to say anything else before I snapped at her again.

"I think it's best you leave now." Rose spoke up. Pattie nodded, stepping up to give me a hug. I didn't hug back, the only thing that I could do was let another tear fell on her shoulder. Soon enough I held her, not wanting to let go of her at the moment. "I'm sorry, baby, you're so fragile. You'll always be my son." She cupped my face. I waved at her as she left in her car.
