Rose furrowed her eyebrows at her boyfriend that mumbled continuously incoherent words after having running in with his mother. She wanted to know why he was so tense with her, what happened in their past that got them this way. The way Justin clutched onto the steering wheel, made Rose uncomfortable."If you want to talk, I'm here for you." Rose tried to comfort him but he ignored here. Yet again, he was shutting her out. It seemed when his past came out, he brought up walls away from her. She was done with how closed up he was towards her; she was not having it.
"Ok, I see how it is, shut me out. Till you realize how distant you are, I'm staying home tonight." Rose was planning to stay over with her boyfriend after having such a great time tonight, that is until Pattie showed up. She'd rather stay home,
if Justin was going to close himself off from her. She thought by now he would be comfortable with talking about his past, but she thought wrong."Wait, Rose, I'm sorry. I just can't tell you right now." Justin said as the car stopped outside his house. "Don't go, babygirl." Rose's heart pinched after hearing his sad tone. "Please take me home Justin." He sighed knowing he couldn't make her stay. The ride back to her house was quiet, not the comforting silence enjoying each other's company, but awkwardly too silent for the two. Justin knew he should trust her and tell her what went on with Pattie, but he felt he wasn't ready. At the same time, he didn't want to push Rose away because of it. Stopping in front of her driveway, Justin turned to his girl, with a crocked smile placed on his lips. "I-I'll see you tomorrow?" Justin stammered nervously. Rose nodded her head, "I'll see you at work." After that she let herself out.

Rose's POV
Rolling over, I knocked the clock off the nightstand in irritation. "Damn alarm clock" I scolded at the inanimate object. Furrowing my eyebrows, my eyes skimmed over a note that lay underneath the alarm clock. As if who ever placed it, knew I'd purposely knock it down. Picking it up, I read the all too familiar hand writing.
'Rose; my everything, I want you to meet me somewhere. Please, I need to see your face, to hear your voice, I know I messed up. Please at "our" favorite place, meet me at 12, when you're ready. You know I love you.'
Chris X
"This fucker," I cursed knowing there was no one to scold me on it. "How did he get into my house? I locked all the doors last night." I asked myself, slowly getting paranoid that someone was watching me. I read the note again, flipping it over to see more writing.
'You didn't think I didn't know how to get in your house did you? Spare key, remember?'
I slapped my hand onto my forehead as I remembered about a year ago, I gave him a spare key for the pent house. That key worked for every door. I forgot to get it from him when he left.
Shitbags.
Justin's POV
I bit my bottom lip scrolling through our pictures. No matter what she continued to be absolutely beautiful in every picture. I really didn't want the relationship me and my mother had, to break us apart. I loved her and I couldn't mess this up. Startled by my ring tone, I picked it up to see it was bae. "Hey babygirl, what's up?" I said causally as if I wasn't just staring at pictures of her. "I'm scared Justin," Rose's voice shook as she spoke. "When I woke up, there was a note from Chris telling to meet him during lunch. I don't know what to do." I already knew she would go see him, just to see what he wanted. I knew how forgiving she could be sometimes, I didn't want her near him at all.
