Grievous was quick to split his two arms into four. His sabers lit up colorfully with green, yellow, blue, and white. Vader was used to Grievous's fighting style, and quickly stood a defensive stance. Vader also noted that over these years, Grievous could very well be much more skilled than last time. Grievous would be the first to move, slowly stepping to the right. Speed was an advantage to the General. His droid enhancements would prove to make Grievous the ultimate lightsaber duelist.
"Let us talk with our blades!"
Grievous leaped with a push with his back feet. Having the amazing balance he did, he'd be able to attack in mid air. Vader would collide his blades with Grievous. Whether it was skill, or luck, Vader would keep the four swarming blades away from his body. The battle put interest, fear, and intimidation into the hearts of those who watched.
"We should get to the data while we can, this might be our only chance! Ahsoka let's go!"
Boba Fett held his hand put, awaiting the touch of a warm hand. Ahsoka shook her head, watching desperately in sadness as the presence of someone she once loved, started to fade in pain.
"Boba...my friend, please go. I'll stay here, I'll make sure you uncover the truth."
Ahsoka looked to the Bounty Hunter.
"Grievous has Vader held! Pax wanted us to complete this mission, and that's what we are going to do. So let's go."
Boba took her hand and ran to the holocron locked in the seal. Meanwhile Vader would take an opening to attack Grievous. Using his power in the force, he'd slam the blades against the
General's pushing the cyborg back a few feet. Grievous coughed violently.
"You are an honorable opponent Darth Vader, but secrets can't be kept forever!"
Grievous assaulted Vader with a deadly volley of sabers. Vader would be overwhelmed by the assault, stumbling backwards before he caught himself and force pushed Grievous violently against the ancient columns. Grievous grunted in pain, growing irritable towards Vader, attacking him violently. The battle seemed to have no end. Vader would force halt Grievous, restraining his movements, Vader would throw his saber straight into Grievous's cheat pieces. The General coughed as blood dripped from the plating. He'd slowly drop with a clank his sabers deactivating.
"You, are no w-warrior...you are...a c-coward!"
Grievous rolled to his back and made a last sigh before going silent. Vader was lost in thought. His unsteady reminders of the past haunted him. What truth was there to see? Grievous made a good point. The truth comes out eventually.
Vader walked quickly towards the surviving two. Ahsoka was already long in thought, opening the holocron with the force. The temple shook as dust shot up. A huge hologram rose. With maps, hyperspace routes, and text.
"Ahsoka...whatever you did, it worked.."
Fett looked around him in astonishment. This was incredible. Vader also looked at the huge imagery in awe. His master never told him about this. He'd be confused and angry. Looking at the back of Ahsoka's Lekku, he'd look at his hand, slowly forming a fist. Was he having regrets?
"This is incre-..."
Ahsoka grasped her neck in a gasp for air. Vader had her in his death grip. Bringing her over with the Force, he'd make her kneel in front of him.
"You will not leave this place."
Vader would throw her aside igniting his red lightsaber. Ahsoka looked up with tears rolling down her cheeks.
"If I can't leave this place...I won't let you either.."
Ahsoka ignited her sabers as well. Taking no time to strategize. She'd assault his every bit of defense possible, throwing him off with her speed. Vader would quickly slash back, colliding blades. The sheer power of Vader had thrown Ahsoka at a disadvantage, as she always had a thinner more flexible body. Ahsoka sensed the pain in what she thought was Anakin Skywalker.
"How dare you! You killed all of our friends, loved ones, family to us"
Vader stepped back, looking down at his clenched fist.
"You have no place to talk Jedi. You left everything! You abandoned your teachings, your own friends, your love for everything! You have no right to say anything!"
Vader slammed his saber into hers, launching her onto the ground hard. Vader was obviously referring to the time when Ahsoka left the Order.
"What about you! Look at yourself! You're a Sith Lord! You became the very thing you hated! You were supposed to bring balance, destroy the Sith! Not become one!"
Ahsoka launched a massive wave of Force energy Vader's way, throwing him into the columns. Breaking them into two, the temple shook.
Fett sat near the hologram, clicking the play option. Starting out as Darth Sideous explaining to the Kaminoens his plot for a Clone Army that would wipe out the Jedi and the Republic.
"Soon, my Empire will reign over this galaxy. My apprentice Darth Vader will assist me. I shall deceive him into believing that I care for him and his Jedi friends, leading them into the Clone Wars, which I have created. The time will come when Order 66 will occur. And when that happens, Anakin will have no choice but to join me."
The hologram continued to show the evil plots and twisted swamps the chancellor had planned. His evil schemes, and his vial lies. Vader now knew the truth. He'd look at the images in disbelief. Regretting everything he'd become.
"Ahsoka...I..."
Vader looked at the bleeding girl.
"What have I done..."
Vader felt a sudden rush of hysteria rush through him. Ahsoka would run up to the Sith Lord and give him a tight hug. Fett shook his head as he knew the truth of Anakin's life, the Clone Wars, and everything that had happened during his lifetime. Sudden rays of light shined through the Temple as support collapsed, revealing a drop ship. The Empire. Walking out of the opening walkway, would be a dark hooded old man. The Emperor himself.
"I had feared that this day would come"
Another Red saber ignited as he approached the trio. Vader turned in anger.
"You lied to me. You made me what I am today!"
Vader felt like he was just a small pawn in this game.
"You made me into this monster!"
Vader started pulling out his old Anakin.
"You made me this monster that caused pain and hatred!"
Vader would spark and twitch slightly, raising his blade, he'd prepare to duel his old Master. Ahsoka raised her sabers as well. Emperor Palpatine had foresaw all of this, and he was prepared to deal with it. The truth had been released to the one person he didn't want to see. The terrible Truth that not even the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, could bare.
