Emperor Palpatine gazed into Vader. His old grey skin, deformed by force lighting. His true form. Vader angrily approached the Sith Lord. He'd raise his arm and crush Palpatine's footing, throwing the old man to the side. Palpatine knew that this would severely damage Vader's metal state. Emperor tried to assault Vader, but to little extent. Vader's power was out if hand."Curse you!"
Vader roared out.
"I am in eternal pain because of you! I will kill you! Just like you did me!"
Vader bashed over and over at the Sith. For the first time in ages, Palpatine felt fear. Vader would kill him, and return to the light, Palpatine thought of all the outcomes.
Ahsoka dropped to her knees, she'd never seen power to this extent. A small trail of blood connected with her leg, the river originating from Grievous. She'd rush over to the somehow alive General.
"We...we must leave..."
Grievous coughed as Fett boosted down to his aid.
"He's right!"
Ahsoka shook her head.
"We can't just let Anakin die!"
Ahsoka ran to help her old inspirational friend. By the time she reached him, Vader had already put Palpatine his knees the old man crying out to Ahsoka.
"This is murder!"
Ahsoka shook her head angrily at Palpatine.
"No, it's avenging all the Jedi that were slaughtered!"
Vader slashed Emperor's hand off, then swinging his blade around, beheaded the Sith. Vader took heavy breaths as Sideous finally had been slain. Ironically by his own creation. Ahsoka looked away to Grievous who was on his to feet again, with the assistance of Fett.
"We're heading back to the ship. Are you coming?"
Ahsoka sighed.
"Give me a minute."
She'd walk up to Vader slowly. Her feelings for Anakin were all she had left to try and bring him back.
"Join us...we can make a better future. For everyone. For you.."
Vader shook his head.
"It is too late for me Ahsoka. My very appearance strikes fear to the Galaxy. My time is up..."
Vader moved his arm to reveal a long sparking slash across his chest. Damaged life support as well. Vader's breathing was softened.
"Ahsoka...take your friends...finish my old dream. Become the chosen one that I could not be."
Vader placed his hand onto hers.
"Bring balance back into the Force."
Ahsoka shook in fear. She'd hoped that there would be a peaceful beginning. She started to drip tears, but she knew he was right. He couldn't come with.
"I won't fail...Anakin I..."
Vader shook his head.
"This is goodbye."
Ahsoka wrapped her arms up onto him, Vader doing the same with one arm.
"I love you Anakin."
Ahsoka got up and took his Lightsaber. Removing his helmet without looking at his face. She'd carry it with her.
"Let's go..."
Grievous and Fett nodded.
"Back to Dantooine."
They'd exit the crumbling temple as it collapsed. Nearby would be sounds of Imperial troops rushing to the scene. There lay Grievous's drop ship onto the landing pad. Fett brought them in and set the hyperspace coordinates for Dantooine. The ship shook and beeped, exiting the orbit of Coruscant. The stars around them became blurs of light, as the ship warped.
Glowing through the viewport, the planet's stratosphere would hurt their eyes, after several minutes had passed. The ship was not assaulted by TIE Fighters as the ship was known to return often. It landed. The ramp would open as Grievous slowly walked out, entering his scavenger home near Boba Fett's Slave One, which was landed in the trading city on the hill.
"I can't stay here, I have to leave, but I'll return when the time is right"
Boba Fett shook the hands of Grievous and Ahsoka.
"The Empire will fall, and there will have to be rebuilding. I will help you when that time is."
Ahsoka nodded as she too would leave the area.
"I shall see you two again my friends."
Ahsoka walked with Fett to the city leaving the Grievous to his own path. Fett would eventually splinter from Ahsoka, giving her a long hug before departing.
"Pax would have been proud of you Boba."
Fett nodded slightly.
"Not just me. But all of us."
Fett waves as he headed to Slave One's ramp. Closing it up as he set the Coordinates to Tatooine. Hoping he'd see his two friends again. He'd place Pax's helmet on the passenger seat, nodding to it before making the jump to Tatooine, the most infamous world in all the galaxy. Fett knew the truth, and this truth would pull out a good in him. A good that made him want to thrive with his friends Ahsoka and Grievous. The Clone, The Bounty Hunter, The General, and The Jedi. These were the four most unlikely people to uncover the secrets of a long forgotten war. Those secrets that had brought something back that people haven't seen in many years. Truth.
