Claire's Nursery Rhyme

Once upon a loop,
There was a girl eating soup.

It was 1940 on a small island,
And the girl's name was Claire,
But she ate very strangely,
Sitting backwards on her chair.

Claire seemed to be normal,
Just a simple little girl.
But few knew the secret,
That she hid beneath her curls.

The girl knew she was special,
Ever since she was born.
But because of her "inner devil",
Her family had been torn.

Gripping the chair arms,
She started leaning south,
Lifting up her hair,
She revealed a second mouth.

Many people would scream,
Or run away in terror,
But the ones who actually stayed,
Were far, far rarer.

She stayed in this house,
With a bird as her mistress.
Never aging a day,
She felt almost limitless.

Claire is many things,
A princess, a junior.
But to sum her up in one word,
It'd have to be:
Peculiar.
