(As promised, here is another chapter. 😄)
"Guys!" Shouted Jacob. "I want to show you something! It is amazing, addictive, bad for the brain (even if teachers like it too), fun, funny-"
"Just tell us! I've got better things to do," grumbled Enoch.
"Okay, okay. I present to you," Jacob said, gesturing to the laptop. "YOUTUBE!!!!!!"
The kids stared at him.
"You- what?"
"Has he lost his marbles?"
"Is this a future thingy?"
Emma said," Jacob, I love you. But really, that made no sense at all."
Jacob said," okay. Take a look. These are videos."
"What are videos?" Asked Olive.
"It's a moving picture. You can record people or yourself doing and saying things," Jacob replied. "And here on YouTube, people share videos to show others. There are lots of things and people you can relate to. Enoch, for example. What is your favorite thing to do?"
Enoch thought for a moment before saying," I like dead things!"
"Wow. Really? I had no idea," Horace said sarcastically.
Enoch glared at him and before he could say anything, Jacob said,"Okay. This is a search bar. Just use this (gesturing to the mouse connected to the laptop) and click. Now you spell out the words using these buttons. D-E-A-D T-H-I-N-G-S and search!"

"Woah!" Exclaimed Enoch. "Look at those! So many carcasses!!!!"
Enoch started hyperventilating with joy. He fell on the ground, holding the table leg and gasping for breath.
Awkwardly, Jacob said, "Uh, who else wants to search for something? There are plant documentaries, princess stories, modern fashion tips, and so much more! Who wants to try it?"
"ME!"
"No me! I'm the youngest! I should go first!"
"Sorry, magpie. I'm going first."
"No way, Bronwyn. I'm going first unless you want to be burned."
Jacob intervened. "How about I choose something we would all like?"
"What is there that all of us would like?" Asked Horace. "I mean, these people barely know how to dress appropriately,"
Jacob typed in America's Got Talent. "This is a huge talent show. Winner gets lots of money."
Soon, everyone was addicted to watching America's Got Talent. Even Miss Peregrine, who bought her own laptop so she could binge watch in her room. Jacob never saw the rest of the Peculiars again for one week until they all got up to date with the most recent season.
Suddenly, Hugh had an idea. "Hey! Maybe we should go on America's Got Talent! We have our peculiarities! We would win for sure!"
(How was that chapter? Should I make it longer? How was my description of YouTube? 😜)
