Hi guys! 1K reads!!!!! Yay! Thanks so much! I haven't been posting because I've been on a no wifi vacation. But I wrote some stuff on the airplane. Here you go. Enjoy!

"Hey Mum! Where did my toes go?" That's what started the whole thing. My life was ordinary. I was 15 years old, doing what a 15 year old did. My name is Millard Nullings and I was different.

I was preparing for my career. Taking extra classes and learning what I need to know to become a teacher. I was always at the top of my classes. I was the teacher's assistant. I volunteered at preschools, teaching the alphabet to the toddlers, teaching kids how to read and write. Do math and history. My name is Millard Nullings and I was prepared.

I became invisible bottom to top. First, my toes disappeared. After my toes, it was my feet, ankles, calves, thighs, hips, stomach, hands, arms, torso, neck, head, ears, and then only my hair was left. That, too went away. I was completely and utterly invisible. My name is Millard Nullings and I was unseen.

My parents freaked out. They called me a curse. A monster from below. A ghost. Eventually they left the house. A group of angry townsmen burned down the house, hoping I, the evil spirit, would die with it. The people of my town who used to be my friends tried to kill me. Yes, tried. I escaped through an open window. My name is Millard Nullings and I was misunderstood.

The first mistake after the burning of my house was wearing clothes. I was hunted down. "Floating ghost clothes!" People fled the town. My name is Millard Nullings and I was alone.

The second mistake I made was NOT wearing clothes. It was winter and I was freezing! What was I to do? Make fire. I gathered wood and stones and made a fire. The ash covered my body and campers saw my silhouette. What were they to do? Freak out and shoot with their rifles. What can I say? It's what I would've done. I ran until I fell into a lake and washed off the ash. I fell asleep. My name is Millard Nullings and I was tired.

I had a hard time adjusting to not being able to see my body. My coordination was off by a lot. Nobody could help me. Nobody knew me. I was screwed. My name is Millard Nullings and I was confused.

I made a makeshift camp in the forest near the lake. I speared fish and ate insects and bugs. I was running out of resources. My name is Millard Nullings and I was hungry.

A woman dressed in black wandered into my camp. She called for me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I answered back. "Yes?" She called herself Miss Peregrine and asked who I was. I answered. "My name is Millard Nullings and I am invisible."

Miss Peregrine brought me back to her home. I was welcomed like an old friend. She taught me and introduced me to some of her other wards. They quickly became my family. They accepted me and loved me. I accepted them and loved them back. My name is Millard Nullings and I am peculiar.
