Chapter 7: Is it a date?

I threw my clothes all out the wardrobe trying to find my favourite pair of jeans.I Huffed a sigh of relief as I found them.I picked out a purple lace top and put on my sliver heart necklace.i put my hair up into a high ponytail .i put on some black ankle boots and sat down at my makeup desk.
Just as I was about to apply my foundation I heard a knock at my door.
Come in I shouted.
I was still looking in the mirror and focusing on my makeup when Joe said something.

"Where are you going?" He said tapping the doorframe."going out" I said  applying my concealer now."where exactly" he asked confused "I'm going out to the cinema with Josh" I said making a funny face in the mirror as I applied an extra layer of mascara.
"What like a date?" He said laughing falling to the ground."yes,I mean no of course we are not dating" I said frustrated."Well be careful because he has got a huge crush on you" he said as he walked at of my room
I laughed at his joke and continued getting ready.I put on my leather jacket and headed downstairs.I walked out into the crisp November air and shivered as I made my way to the bus stop.i waited there for the bus my knees wobbling on the bench from the cold.I looked up and saw Josh walking towards me with a big smile on his face.
I looked at him and smiled he was wearing black ripped jeans and a white top with some red converse trainers."Are you ready" he says smiling.
"Ok" I said looking at him.The bus arrived and we got on the bus as looked out into the pitch black darkness outside while the bus  remained silent.Josh elbowed me and laughed "what?" I asked  looking at him with my eyebrows arched."you look beautiful" he said tapping his feet on the floor awkwardly,he looked up at me waiting to say something.I paused for a moment and looked up at him smiling in what seemed like forever I finally said something.
"Thanks ,most of the time I look gross anyway" I laughed as he joked around with me.

Finally we made it to the cinema and we thanked the bus driver and stepped into the cold air."you ok,you look a bit cold" he said worried."no I'm fine it's just I should of wore something warmer" I explained as he looked at me.Honestly I knew what he was going to do he was going to give me his coat and try to make a move,guys just think girls don't pick up on these things but we do.Im tired of all the cliches and the love stories I want people to just back off for a minute I. My life I wanted to scream but i was really trapped inside.

"Well do you want my coat?" He asked
See I knew it he guy always offers the girl the coat."I'm fine thanks" I say shivering still.He raises his eyebrows and shrugs it off as we walk into the cinema.We see a group of people from our school checking out the tickets I look at them dubiously.We get to the ticket machine and buy our tickets and head off to screen 5 where we sit down and get ready for the movie to start.

*After the Movie*
"Well that was fun" he said  as he smiled at me."yeah really liked the part where they went to the party" I said as I looked the time on my phone.It was 10pm."Well we better get going" I said.After that we went home and he dropped me off at my front door,"I really liked going out with you tonight Mia" he said smiling.I cringed when he said my name but shrugged it off anyway."Yeah we should go out again sometime" I said looking at my door keys in my hand.
He leaned in to kiss me but I pulled him into a hug before he could do anything.After that we said our goodbyes and I got into my house.Everyone was upstairs asleep so I made sure I walked really slowly and quietly up the stairs.I got to my bedroom and jump into my bed.It had been a little no night as I lay there looking at my ceiling.
I heard a faint knock at my door.Joe peeped his a head around."why are you still awake" I said looking at him taking off my makeup."why did you just get in" he said with concern."oh the movie overrun and we went for food afterwards too" I said."ok" he smiled brightly. And he walked out the door to his room.Well that was strange I thought to myself.
Even Josh was a really nice and caring guy I don't feel he is the right guy for me,my feelings for Joe are just too strong.But I can't just date him when he lives in the same house as me.Mum and dad would get mental.He is like a son to them.
I just need to get over Joe and move on,I don't think I'm ready for a relationship yet with exams and everything going on.I sigh and look at my clock
I reads 12:04 I sigh and pull my duvet over myself.
In the morning I wake up to the smell of pancakes and a smile spreads across my face.

Hi guys what do you think will she still like Joe or move on to Josh or is there someone else coming into the picture.
