I walk down his path leading to his front door,with a card clutched in my hand,as I approach the door I look at all the flowers his mum must of planted all around the house.I smile as I knock the door and wait on his doorstep.The door opens and his mum comes to the door dressed a formal black dress and pearl necklace.Her hair is tied back into a low pony tail."Hi Mrs Winters" I say as a smile appears on her face.
"Mia,what a surprise isn't it nice to see you again,Josh has missed you since last time"
We walk down the hall and into their living room where Josh is laying on the sofa and watching a film.
"Hey Mia" he says beaming at me."Hey how you doing?" I ask sitting down on the other sofa."Good,I actually feel great"
"Yes he will be coming back to school tomorrow,the doctor says he has had a full recovery and is back to normal" His mum then wanders off to the kitchen,her heels clicking against the hard kitchen tiles.
"Hey come over here" Josh pats the seat next to him.
"I missed you" he stares at me for a moment."I missed you too" I say smiling at him.
"We should go on a date some time"
"That would be amazing" I look at the tv and I feel Josh's hand grab mine.I look at him and inside i feel really happy."is it ok if tomorrow we make it official and tell everyone that we are together now" he asks me."Yeah I won't mind at all" I say.
After a while I leave because he wants to get some rest before he goes back to school tomorrow.I shut The door and walk back to my house which is across the street so it's not that far.
"I'm home"I say as I walk upstairs.Looks like no one is home I think to myself.
I grab my duvet from my bed and wrap it around me walking downstairs like a giant marshmallow.I then sit down on the sofa and put on my favourite tv show I'm now on episode 13.
I must of fell asleep while watching TVs and wake up to this...
"Hey Mia wake up its school" Joe shouts into my ear.
"Yes whatever give me five minutes" I say rolling over and drifting off to sleep again.i am shaken awake again by Joe."yes I am coming" I get up and yawn,My mood changes to panic as I see that there is a huge knot in my hair."Oh hell no" I say rushing out the bathroom and to my bedroom.
* 1 hour later*
"I can't believe that you and Josh are together now" Lexie says sitting across from me and Josh.
"Well things happen for the better most of the time" Josh says."that's so cute" Lexie starts making puppy eyes and giggling.My hand smacks my forehead,trust Lexie to be like this I think to myself.
I get up and me and Josh say goodbye as I walk to English class.
As I walk into the classroom everyone looks at me,some smile and some frown.Since the swimming pool accident people have judged me and seen me differently.Even though I didn't push Josh people still think I'm lying.I quickly slump into my chair and take off my backpack.
"Hey" Penny says looking at me from across her table."hi" I say trying to ignore Penny and her friends.I focus on my book and start to read looking away from her."so you and Josh are dating now" she said looking at me."yeah" I say quietly."Well try to not push him down the stairs or anything." Her friends giggle and glare at me.
"You better watch out" I say getting angry."ohhhh so scared" as she shakes her hands and laughs back at me."Be careful Penny she might try to murder you too like she tried to murder Josh"Tara exclaims turning back to her work.
After a while they stop talking and we all leave for lunch.
* 4 hours later *
I run up to Josh as surprise him in the school car park."Hey" I say.
"Hey" he shouts at me."you seem in a good mood" He looks at me confused.I am trying to be positive even after what happened with Penny and her friends earlier this morning.
"Can't I be positive and be happy around my boyfriend?" I ask.
"of course you can" he says.
He kisses me and holds my hand.We walk down The road to my house from school.When we reach my house we hug and say goodbye.
I walk into the my house jumping up and down like a hyper starfish.(ps. I really am wired sometimes I know)
Joe walks into the room and looks at me frowning."I think there is something seriously wrong with you" he says laughing.Joe comes closer to me and whispers in my ear.
"Are you on drugs" he stares at me."No I'm not I'm just so happy" as I skip up the stairs.
Quite a short chapter but hope you enjoyed it
