The soldiers stood in line, they all were ready. They had been training for three weeks now. There were rumors they were bringing in an Agent to help them with the rest of it. So, some of them are excited for that. Others really don't care.

Soon, General Phillips came over with a young woman with dark brown hair that had a red tint in it. She wore an olive green dress that was obviously a uniform for how high up in the agency she was.

"Soldiers, meet Agent Wanda Maximoff. She is here to help me train you for war." General Phillips introduced.

Wanda looked over them all, they were all normal soldiers from what she could see but she'd need to see more to help the General decide which one of them should be Sargent.

"A woman? Isn't this supposed to be an army, not a dress show?" One of the soldiers asked snarkily.

"You have a problem with me being here, Soldier?" Wanda asked testing the man.

     "Actually, I do." He answered.

"Shut up, Davis." One of the men warned him. "She's obviously here to help chose which one of us should be Sargent."

"What's your name, Soldier?" Wanda asked.

     "Davis, Ken Davis," Davis answered.

"How much training did you have before this?" She asked.

"Not much but I'm a man and all men can throw a punch," Davis said.

     "And I'm guessing I can't?" Wanda asked.

     "Nope."

"Stop, Davis, your gonna regret it." The same man warned him.

Davis ignored the man's warnings and opened his mouth again when Wanda decked him and he fell to the ground, obviously not ready. He looked up at her in shock and so did the other soldiers.

"Told you," Said the soldier shaking his head.

Wanda looked at him, and she knew why she recognized the voice. It was Bucky. The same Bucky who is Steve's friend. "What's your name, Soldier?" She asked him even though she already knew.

"James Buchanan Barnes, doll." He answered.

"Well, Barnes. It's good to know your place in war." She said before walking back to General Phillips.

Watching them train for the war was going well and honestly, they were all good as well as Wanda could expect. Most of them probably never held a gun before this. The ones who did probably didn't mean to kill anyone with it. Wanda watched and couldn't help but look at Bucky whenever she could. He looked and acted so different. He had life in his eyes. He was happy. Not like the Bucky she knew from before.

"So, what do you think so far, Agent Maximoff?" Phillips asked.

"They're good, well, as good as to be expected," Wanda answered crossing her arms as they watched the soldiers do jumping jacks.

"Do you have anyone in mind for Sargent?" He asked.

     "Not really," She said.

"What about Barnes?" He asked making her look at him. "He passed every test. And I saw you looking, Agent." He was pushy, that was for sure.

"I wasn't looking. I was watching all of them, sorry, that you caught me only watching him, apparently." Wanda said rolling her eyes.

"So, you watch every soldier for 20 minutes each?" Phillips asked, Wanda opened her mouth to say something but honestly didn't know what to say. "It's alright. Just don't let your crush get in your head. I may like him for the Sargent role but if you chose him just because your crush, I swear you'll be out of here before you could say 'aye'." He warned her.

"Yes, sir." She nodded, even, though she wanted to argue it wasn't a crush. She didn't think it was a crush. It just was weird seeing him like this. She wasn't use to it.

It was night time and Wanda was talking with the TP nurses about if any of the soldiers came in for anything. Two of the soldiers came in for headaches but they said it was just exhaustion. Nothing else.

"Thank you," Wanda said before walking out of the tent, she ran right into Bucky- Barnes. Barnes, she'll call him Barnes.

"I'm sorry, doll." He grinned at her. "I wasn't watching where I was going."

"It's fine, good day." She went to walk off but he grabbed her arm, she tensed up, not liking being grabbed like that.

"Sorry, for stopping you but, I wanted to ask. If you like to dance?" Barnes asked.

    "What?"

"Do you like to dance? It's a normal question, you know, doll?" He asked.

"Stop calling me doll," Wanda told him.

"Why, doll, do you get nervous?" He taunted with the same grin.

"No. Whatever. I have to go." She said as she went to leave again but again he followed her and continued talking.

"You never answered my question, do you like to dance?" Barnes asked again.

Wanda pondered whether or not to answer his question, she thought it'd be rude to not answer it but it was obvious that he was flirting with her. She would rather not give in to it. But, she really didn't want to be rude.

"Yes, I like to dance." Wanda finally answered. "Why?"

"Well... I like to dance too. I think we have a connection." He grinned. "We should go dancing sometime." He told her.

"Aw, wouldn't that be fun," She laughed, "but, I don't give into someone like you, Barnes. Your gonna have to try harder than that. Not saying that it'd work. But, you'll have to try harder." she told him.

"So, your saying I have a chance?" Barnes asked.

"I didn't say that," Wanda said as she started walking leaving him there.

"I took it that way!" He shouted after her and she just shook her head with a smile on her face about the whole deal.

Tony worked on the portal as he thought he was getting close but then it failed, he growled under his breath before throwing his wrench at the wall. He put his head in his hands in anger. He messed up and now two of his team are stuck in the 40s.

"Tony, it failed again?" Rhodey asked as he came in.

"Yeah..." Tony gulped as he sat back in his chair.

"You'll fix it, don't worry," he said sitting next to Tony. "It's not your fault." He told him looking at him with a worried expression.

"Yes, it is. And if they mess something up and the world dies... It will be my fault. Just like my dreams." Tony whispered looking down.

"No, it won't," They both looked up to Steve. "None of this is your fault. The portal may have been made by you but it was Clint and Wanda who talked about it and ended up being sucked in. I'm sure they are fine, they are both smart. And they'll have me there if I'm correct on the time."

"Yeah, right, Rogers like you'll believe them if they tell you about it." Tony said sarcastically shaking his head.

"They won't tell me. But if they do, it'll be best to tell me than anyone else. Telling me won't effect the future." Steve said.

"Whatever..." Tony ran his hand through his hair. "Friday run a scan on the portal again." He ordered his AI once again...
