We were naive sixth graders who didn't know a thing, scared eighth graders who couldn't sleep because of the nerves. Now we're twelfth graders and I want to say confident but we aren't.
We are still scared and naive and we still get nervous. But we have more confidence in what we do. We explore and go on adventures, we make our parents proud and disappoint them in the same night.
We go on cheap adventures that leave us laughing for days, make memories that we smile upon for nights after.
We fall in love with people and places and we learn and grow
Now we're lying in bed, happy with the changes but spent over the effort put into it and life is barely beggining.
And life is scary, and we might not even make it but I wouldn't want to lose you, with all in me I hope we make it against all odds.
