Rose's POV
Andre takes me up a floor and the elevator opens. It's a long hallway with several paintings decorating it.
"This floor is my room and the entertainment room. This side has my room and the entertainment room is on the other. There's also a bathroom next to the play room, which is the biggest."
I don't know what it is, but he makes me feel comfortable around him. He's not pushing me for questions and he's being really caring. Normal people would have ran away, but where do I run to? I can't run all the way to Washington. Okay, after I get cleaned up, I'll ask to use the phone.
He opens the bathroom door and places me on the counter. He opens a cabinet and takes out a First aid kit. He grabs a cloth, wets it, and proceeds to clean my feet. It's a little embarrassing letting him clean my feet. They look so dirty.
"Are you comfortable talking more?" He says, rinsing the cloth and cleaning my other foot.
"Yes."
"Let's continue where we left off. How did you end up in that alley?"
"It's a long story..."
"I've got time."
Do I trust him enough to tell him? I mean, he hasn't done anything wrong. He's been nothing but sweet to me. I don't see a reason not to tell him.
"I'm not from here. I'm from Washington." He looks at me confused. "I don't understand." He says.
"I was uhh...kidnapped." He stops and waits for me to speak. "He took me and tied my parents up. I don't know if they're looking for me. It was about a week ago. When he stopped to use the bathroom, I broke the tape tied around my wrist and escaped. He chased me in the woods and I climbed up a tree so he wouldn't see me. After he was gone, I found out I was 10 miles from the city and started walking. I tried to use the phones at gas stations, but they either didn't have one or yelled at me for not having shoes. I found the alley and stayed there."
While I was talking, he had already finished cleaning my foot and put cream on it. He didn't look at me.
"Rose, I am so sorry you had to go through that. You're so strong." He hugs me and at first I hesitated but then hugged him back. It made me blush deep red.
"Sorry haha. I'll let you clean yourself up in the tub and I'll bring back some pajamas. Towels are on the shelf."
"Pajamas?" I turn my head to the side.
"One, you're not wearing those again. Two, it's after 6 o'clock. It'd be pointless to put you in regular clothes. And three, what else would you sleep in?" He grins as he walks out shutting the door behind him. Wait I'm staying here?

Andre's POVIt was pretty unsettling hearing her talk about what happened to her. At least we know what happened. I head downstairs and see Leo and Micah watching a game.
"Hey how is she?" Leo asks, looking up at me.
"She's fine. She's taking a bath upstairs. Which reminds me that I need to get her some pajamas."
"I'll go get some from the store if you need me to." Micah says. I look at him confused on why he'd want to considering earlier. "I told him already." Leo says.
"Oh okay. Yea that'd help."
He gets up and heads downstairs.
"Did you talk to her?" He stands up and heads to the kitchen and I follow behind. "Yea and it's worse than I imagined. She was taken from her home all the way in Washington. She managed to get away and walked 10 miles to where I found her."
"What the fuck? That's why her feet were so bad. Poor thing. And her parents?" He takes out ground beef from the fridge and puts it in a bowl. "She said he tied them up. I was going to look her up and see if they put out a missing person report."
"That's a good idea. I'm making spaghetti for dinner." He starts cooking the meat and seasons it. I remember when he said he wanted to be a chef when we were younger. That was until my mother said it wasn't a real job. Now he's an anesthesiologist and a damn good one.
I sit at the table and open my laptop. I search 'Rose Hamilton' in the search bar. I click on an article from Washington.
"Local teen missing. Parents found dead in car crash."
My heart drops to my stomach. She thinks they're still alive. I read more and it says they were driving on the highway when a semi crashed into them.
"Leo, I found something." I call him over. He bends over to read and his expression changes to worried. "Oh my god... we have to tell her."
"I don't think she's ready to hear it yet. She's been through enough today." I rub my temples and try to think of a way to break the news.
Rose's POV
I finish washing up and washing my hair. I used the vanilla scent body wash. It's weird that a guy would have that.
I step out and dry myself with a towel. While I was drying, I heard a soft knock on the door. "Andre?" I call out.
"Um no it's me Micah. I brought you some pajamas."
Micah? Oh right. The one who scared me earlier. I was too distracted by his looks that I couldn't explain myself. Why are all of them so damn fine?
I open the door slightly and stick out my arm to grab them from him. "I wasn't too sure of the size." He explains. "Thank you." I say before shutting the door.
I dress myself in the soft and cute pajamas. He has good taste. My feet are starting to feel alot better and it's more comfortable to walk. When I open the door, I see Micah standing across from me, making me jump.
"I wanted to apologize for earlier. I didn't mean to scare you." He says with a worried expression.
"It's okay." I reply.
"I also wanted to make sure you uhh...didn't get lost."
"Oh thank you." I smile. His eyes search my face as he stands there. Like they're looking for something.
"Is there something on my face?" I ask, touching my cheek. "Oh no...sorry."
After that awkward encounter, we make our way downstairs. When the door opens, the smell of something good fills the room.
"Hey Rose. How was your bath?" Andre asks from the couch. I smile and skip next to him. "It was great! I really liked the body wash. And look at these pajamas!" I pull at the hem of my shirt to show off the owl.
"That's cute. Did you tell Micah thank you?"
I nod my head and sit next to him. He's watching Comedy Central on TV. Micah joins us and sits next to Andre. Leo comes in as well, wipping his hands on a rag. "After the garlic bread is done, we can eat." He says taking a seat next to me.
"Now that we're all together, we can talk." Leo continues.
"We talked it over and we thought that if you want, you can stay here for a few days until you're ready to leave."
It's nice that they're willing to share their home with me. Most people wouldn't even give you the time of day. I can call my parents and tell them where I am and then I can leave. Easy peasy.
"Okay. But is it okay if I use your phone?" I ask.
"Yea sure. Who are you trying to call?" Andre says, handing me his phone.
"My parents."
------------------------Do you think they'll stop her? What do you think she'll do if they never pick up?
Let me know!
Byee!
