♡Seventeen♡

The next day I woke up in Alex's bed. He said he had to work today and would be back at noon. It was 10 o'clock. I climb out of bed and dress myself in jeans and a pink sweater.

I checked my phone. 27 missed calls from Micah, Andre, and Leo. Better call now.

I click on Leo's name and wait for him to answer. After one ring he answers.

"Hi Princess!" He says excitedly. I smile. "Hey."

"How have you been? Is everything okay? You didn't call us."

"Yea I'm fine. I'm sorry I didn't call. My phone must have been on silent."

There was muffled voices on the other end. I hear Leo say it's Rose. "Hi baby girl." Andre says. "Sweetheart we miss you so much!" Micah says. Hearing their voices again slips me into my little space.

"I miss you too Daddy. I miss all of you!"

"Aww you're so sweet. What are you up to?" Leo says.

"Umm I wanted to make some breakfast and go on a walk, but now I don't know if I can."

"I wish we were there to help you baby girl. I really don't want you to be walking alone. Where is you friend?" Andre says in a worried tone.

"He's at work. He'll be back at noon."

"Okay. Since you know the area, I'll let you take a walk. Just don't stay out too long. And please remember to call us, we've been worried." Leo says calmly.

"I'm sorry Daddy. I'll remember to call."

"Good girl. Now we have to go. We'll talk to you soon baby girl." Andre says.

We say our goodbyes and I hang up the phone.

I go into the kitchen and grab a packet of strawberry pop tarts. One of my favorites.

When I go outside, the cool Seattle air hits me. Not so different from Chicago. I should by a few things while I'm here. Before I left, I had my eye on a dress at my favorite store. Luckily, it's right around the corner.

I ate the pop tarts on the way and held my stuffie close to me.

The streets are pretty busy at this time. You can always hear cars screech from stopping. Lots of accidents almost everyday.

I walk into the store and start to look for the dress. It has to be here somewhere.

There's a girl near me holding the dress to herself and looking at the mirror. Pleeeeaaase don't get it!

She sighs and puts it back on the rack.

Yes! It's mine!

When she walks away, I casually walk over to the rack and grab the dress. I bask in it's glory. It's oh so sparkly glory.

I pay for the dress and head back to Alex's apartment.

When I open the door, Alex was sitting on the couch talking to the same girl from the store. What's she doing here and how did she get here so fast?

"Hey Rose! I was wondering where you were." Alex says turning to me.

"Yet you never called." I tease.

"Sorry about that." He smiles. "This is a good friend of mine Nicole." Nicole waves to me and smiles brightly.

She was a dirty blonde and had brown eyes. She was really pretty and I liked her freckles.

"It's nice to meet you Rose. I've heard a lot about you."

"Nice to meet you too."

"Well now that we're all together, why don't we go out tonight? It'll be nice to get out of the house."

I noticed Nicole's hand was on Alex's. It gave me a strange feeling about them.

"Sure. I got a new dress so it'll be nice to show it off." I take the dress out of the bag and show them. Nicole gasps.

"Omg I was just about to get that but I didn't have enough money!" She stands up and checks put the dress. She practically towered over me. Nicole was still shorter than Alex, but everyone is shorter than Alex when he's 6'6".

"Before we do go out, why don't we get something to eat? I'll buy." Nicole suggests. The more I hear her talk, the more I don't like her.

"Great. Is that okay with you Rose?"

No, she should just go home while me and you have fun without her...

I fake a smile and nod. "Why wouldn't it be?"

Sorry this chapter is short and took so long. I got really stumped with ideas and was drawing a blank for a long time.

I'm begging you guys 😂😂 please share some ideas!
