♡Nineteen♡

The plane ride wasn't as long as the first time.

I walked around with my luggage, looking for my Daddies.

I didn't like the way I left. It felt really rushed and like I didn't fully grieve. When I went back to Alex's apartment, I found him in bed with her. He yelled at me to get out and I started crying and packing. I ran out without a second glance. What makes it worse is he never called or text.

"Princess!" I hear Leo shout out. I look up to see the three of them waving. I ran at full speed into their embrace.

"I missed you Daddies!" I sob.

Andre strokes my hair. "It's okay baby. We're here now."

I talked the entire car ride home about my visit. They asked about Alex but I changed the subject.

"Home sweet home!" I flop on the couch. I hear them laughing.

"It's been really quiet since you've been gone. But now that you're back, we want to spend the whole day together. How does that sound sweetheart?" Micah says.

I clap my hands excitedly. "That sounds amazballs!"

We took a walk to the nearby park and I ran for the swings. Micah yelled and said don't run so I skipped.

"Daddy push me!" I giggled. Andre came over and started to push. I was going so high!

"Smile princess!" Leo said. I gave him a big smile and he took pictures.

I saw a woman with her child walk over and say something to Micah. She looks like your average suburban mom with her son who looks like he's wearing a soccer uniform.

I slow my swings and hop off the swing to see what was going on cause Andre and Leo joined them.

I hold Micah's hand and hide behind him.

"I'm Karen and this is my son Cornelius. We're new here and I was wondering if my son and your daughter could play together. He could really use some friends."

Who names their child something that sounds like an eye infection?

"She's not our daughter but I think little Rose could use some friends too. Do you want to play with him princess?" Micah says.

I shrug and bury my face into his side.

"She's a little shy." Leo chuckles.

"Cornelius was like that too." Karen laughs.

"Baby girl, we'll watch you as you play. We'll be here if you need anything. Now be polite and introduce yourself to Karen and Cornelius." Andre pets my head and speaks softly to me. "I give you ice cream~"

Alright now I'm convinced.

I look up at Karen and smile. "My name is Rose."

"It's nice to meet you Rose. This is my son." She places her hand on his shoulder to get attention. He looks up from his DS and smiles at me.

We walk to the jungle jim and he starts to cross the monkey bars.

"How old are you Rose?" Cornelius says.

"I'm 18!"

He hops off on the other side and turns to me. I climb on and start to cross.

"Are you a little too? Karen is my mommy but she's scared of people judging her so she says I'm her son."

"Yea! And I can understand why. Some people can be mean about it."

"Tell me about it. You can call me Neil for short." He smiles.
