As it turns out, I needed stitches on my arm after making my badass entrance into Avery's room. But as that was happening, I had my dad check in on Dan and Phil for me, and he came back with a smile on his face.

"He's finally recovering." My Dad smiled.
I breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank God."
"One of the agents got in touch with a witch, I guess you could say, who specializes in certain rituals." Dad explained. "And apparently, the ritual being performed on the boys were rituals that all had to be performed at the same time. So that means if you had waited any longer, Dan probably wouldn't have made it."
"Let's not go there please!" I begged.
Dad smirked a smile, "We won't."

Finally, the doctor putting stitches on my arm finally wrapped it up in a bandage.

"Try not to pick at your arm, lift anything heavy or put any pressure on it, the stitches will pop." The doctor noted.
I nodded, "don't worry, I won't."

The doctor nodded and we watched as he packed up his things and left the room. I then looked over at Dad.

"Can I go and visit Dan and Phil now?" I asked him.

He nodded, I got out of the hospital bed I was in and he brought me over into the ICU, where Dan still was.
---
As soon as I entered the room, I noticed Dan asleep on the bed and Phil finally looking calm and relaxed.

"Hi." I whispered to him as I approached him.

Phil looked up at me and smiled, before suddenly embracing me.

"Thank you." He whispered to me. "For everything."
"I knew I had to do something, and this was the final opportunity." I responded.
"And you chose the right time to do it." Phil added in. "If you had waited any longer, Dan would've been dead... and I would've been--" "Phil, don't think about that anymore." I interrupted. "Dan is alive and recovering."
"Yeah." Phil nodded. He then looked at Dan, who was still asleep. "He's finally sleeping peacefully after these past few days."
"Yeah, he deserves it." I responded. "And you both deserve this peace and happiness you've been needing all this time."
"It feels weird actually..." Phil claimed. "We were so used to being considered the bad boys of the town. So for us to be suddenly considered innocent and for the entire town to be considered criminals, it feels really weird."
"I guess in a way, it does too..." I agreed.
"But I'm looking forward to the future, and getting out of this hellhole town."
I looked over at Phil in surprise, "you're moving?"
Phil nodded, "Back to London, where we used to both grow up at."
"How long have you planned that?" I asked.
"We've planned it for a while, but it never actually became real until just now, with all of our videos becoming so popular." Phil explained. "We got a call from YouTube, saying that they would begin paying us with each video we made."
"That's awesome!" I smiled. "I'm so happy for you guys!"
"Thank you." Phil smiled. "But... what about you?"
"Well, I'm actually moving too." I finally admitted. "But because of what's been going on I didn't know when or whether to tell you or not."
Phil smiled. "That's great! We're both getting out of this place!"
"Yeah, finally!" I responded.
"But I gotta admit, I'll miss seeing you around." Phil admitted.
I smirked a smile, "don't worry, we'll work something out where we could see each other again!"
"That sounds great!" Phil responded.

I decided to finally leave Phil alone so that he could get some rest. I really needed it as well. As I left the room, I peered through the window and noticed Phil carefully climbing into the bed next to Dan, resting his head on Dan's shoulder.

I smirked a smile.

"I ship the two of you so hard." I mumbled to myself.

I then made my way back into the room I was staying at and decided to get some sleep as well.

TWO WEEKS LATER

We packed the last of our things into the moving truck.

I looked over at Dan and Phil and smiled as they helped me put the last of the boxes from my house into the truck.

"Thank you both so much for the help!" My mom smiled.
"Not a problem at all!" Dan responded.

My mom then took out a $20 bill from her wallet and offered it to the boys.

"No, you keep it!" Phil insisted.
"Are you sure?" My mom asked.
"Positive!" Dan nodded.
"Thank you." My mom responded.

I watched as my parents both went inside of the house. I then looked over at Dan and Phil.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye." I said.
"I wish it didn't have to be." Phil responded.
"Better that than dying at the hospital." Dan joked.

Phil then elbowed Dan harshly on his side and Dan rubbed it in pain. But it made me laugh. It wouldn't have been funny in the hospital, but now that everything is over, we joke about it as if it never happened.

I then went over to the both of them and hugged them.

"Thank you for this unforgettable experience." I said to the both of them.
"Thank you for forever changing our lives." Dan added.
I smiled, "anytime."

With that, the two of them finally got on their bikes and wheeled away. I watched them ride away until I could no longer see them.

After tomorrow, Dan and Phil and this entire town will only be memories, but they will both be unforgettable memories.
