The next day, as I was getting ready for school, I heard a knock on my door. I sighed, thinking it was Avery somehow coming to still talk to me on the way to school even though she totally hates my guts.

But when I opened the door, I smiled as I saw Dan and Phil on the front porch.

"Hey!" I said.
"Mind if we take you to school?" Dan asked.
"Sure!" I nodded.

I grabbed my backpack and headed out to the back of the house to grab the bike I had ridden back home from their place just last night. I then wheeled it out front to the curb and hopped on it.

"We're twinning!" Phil exclaimed.
"I think we're tripling because there's three of us, Phil." Dan explained.
"Oh, yeah that makes more sense." Phil claimed.

I rolled my eyes as we began pedaling over to the school. As we approached the bike rack in front of the school, I got more glares from students. But I became used to those glares. Because, unless I somehow have a change of heart about Dan or Phil, they would always hate my guts.

As we locked our bikes on the bike rack, the three tough guys approached us.

"I see you've joined the biker gang." One of the tough guys stated.
"Leave her the hell alone, Colin." Dan mumbled.

So his name's Colin? I never knew what his name was until just now.

"Y'know, now that you've also become involved with these two, we've had no choice but to involve you in our rituals as well." Colin explained.
"Oh, you mean for your little cult?" I asked.
"Everybody in the entire school is involved with this cult, including teachers and staff members. It's 377 against 3." Colin explained. "So I wouldn't consider it little."
"Well, whatever you've performed against us hasn't worked yet." I stated.
"Well that's because we just started it." Colin stated. "Phase one was complete, by getting one of you injured. All the other phases will just get worse as they go along. Pretty soon, you'll all be either dead or driven out of town."
"We'll see..." Phil said.

The three of us then made our way into the school. I tried staying cool after that confrontation but internally, my mind and heart were racing. I could tell Dan and Phil were feeling that way too.

I didn't want to let any of that get in the way of school though. Despite everybody, including the teachers I had disliking me, Dan and Phil, I needed to prove that I was smarter than them and good enough to get into a good college, hopefully somewhere far away from here. What surprised me though was how the teachers didn't just fail me on everything I did, even when I was doing everything correct. Maybe Colin was over-exaggerating. Unless what he said was true and this was only the beginning.
---
During lunchtime, I went and tried to look for Dan and Phil. There was no sign of them anywhere. I wasn't nervous though, because I knew the one place where they would be.

I quickly darted out of the cafeteria, down the hallway and to the door that lead up to the room. Of course it was unlocked and I made my way up to the rooftop.

As I opened the door, the brightness of the sun blinded me for a split second, but as I turned left towards a shaded area, I noticed Dan and Phil leaning against a wall. Dan's arm was around Phil's and Phil was leaning against Dan.

I felt kind of awkward interrupting them, but as they both saw me, they smiled and waved. I smiled back, walked over and sat down next to them.

"So this is where the two of you go sometimes during school?" I asked.
"Yeah." Dan nodded. "Just look at the view!"

I looked out at the view, noticing a couple of buildings from the town and beyond that, a bundle of trees and a narrow roadway. Then, there was a small river and then farther away, I could see a city skyline.

"Wow..." I said.
"I know..." Dan responded.
"That's where we want to move to." Phil said.
"Hopefully if our videos are successful enough, we can do that and much more." Dan assured him.

I smiled, but then sighed.

"But what if that does happen?" I asked. "What will happen to me?"
"I'm sure your parents will understand enough to get you the hell out of this place." Dan explained. "If these people really are performing some type of ritual to harm us, then your parents will get you out of here."
"But how will that help?" I asked. "Rituals can affect anybody anywhere! So even if all three of us are gone somewhere else, they can still do stuff to us!"
"I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens." Phil said. "Until then, the three of us just need to be careful."

I didn't say anything and I only nodded. Maybe Dan and Phil were right. I had already proven to my parents what was going on. I know I can't make them move us out of here right away, but maybe if I could at least try and get Dan and Phil out of here, maybe things will change and the rituals would stop.

Until then, we're stuck here having to face whatever they throw at us.

Hey guys! (Please read)

I'm coming to that point now where I'm not sure if this story is going anywhere or not. So I may or may not continue with this story until farther notice. I only really made this story because of a couple of tweets on Twitter that sparked an idea in my head. I would love to try and come up with an ending for this, but I feel like if I continue on with this story, it probably won't be satisfying enough for me or even for you guys. So if I somehow come up with more ideas for this story then I will gladly write more chapters to this story. Until then, this story may end up being on hold. I hope you guys understand!

Thank you!
