The next day, I headed back to the hospital to visit Dan. As I was outside of his room, I could suddenly hear him vomiting. I paused and stood right where I was at, my heart racing.

I then slowly made my way into the room, noticing Dan paler than he was last night and Phil in even more of a panic than he was yesterday.

"W-What's going on?" I asked.
Phil sighed, "his body can't take in any type of food."
"What about a feeding tube?" I asked.
"I guess we're gonna have to try that." Phil responded.
"I don't want any damn tube down my throat, Phil." Dan mumbled.
"We don't have another choice, Dan!" Phil exclaimed. "It's either that or you die!"
"Well, death is inevitable..." Dan responded, "and it's bound to happen sooner or later."

Without any hesitation, Phil suddenly got up out of his seat and stormed out of the room. I followed right behind him. He then leaned against the wall and broke down in tears.

"I can't let this happen..." Phil sobbed. "I can't lose him..."
"Maybe it's just another one of his crisis'?" I asked.
"No, it's different this time." Phil responded. "Normally when that happens, it's somewhat stupid and comes during the weirdest of times. But this time, he means it. And I feel like he's ready to accept it, and I can't let that happen..."
"Phil, we're going to make things work out, I promise." I assured him. "Dan is going to live and we're both going to help him out no matter what it takes."
"But... I don't want to force him to do something he doesn't want to do." Phil explained.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
Phil sighed, letting out a few tears. "I know I keep saying I can't afford to lose Dan..." Phil explained. "But... as long as things keep getting worse, I don't think we'll have a choice..."

My eyes widened. I never thought I would hear Phil say something like that. I didn't like it, I hated it.

I then gave him a serious look.

"No... things are going to get better..." I assured him with a serious tone. "I'll make sure of it."

I then went down the hallway and left the hospital. I knew what I had to do.

The first thing I did was ride the bike over to their apartment. They gave me a spare key the day I went and visited them in case anything happened. I then went upstairs and into their little gaming room where they uploaded all of their videos. Without any hesitation whatsoever, I uploaded all of their videos to their channels on YouTube. It took several hours, but it all finally got done.

If they got viral with their first video, imagine what it will be like for all of their other videos.

After I left their apartment, I went back on my bike and headed back into the town. As I did, I got on my phone and called Megan.

"Hey Emma!" Megan said.
"Megan..." I began. "I'm about to do something incredibly insane and I really need your help."
"What do you mean by that?" Megan asked.
"I'm going to end this cult thing once and for all." I explained to her. "And I need your help since nobody else in this godforsaken town can help."
"Okay..." Megan said, surprisingly confident, "what do you need me to do?"
I smiled.

Later on that night, I climbed up the same exact ladder I did the other night in order to get into Avery's room. She was doing another ritual. As I looked through the window, I saw her cutting her hand with a blade, and smearing blood onto another photo of Dan and Phil. Although she wasn't smearing any of her blood on Phil, it was all over Dan.

She then was about to tear the photo in half when I suddenly jumped through the window. Yes, it was like one of those action scenes in every single action movie, but a lot more painful. But there wasn't another way inside where she couldn't catch me.

Avery just sat there, still staring at the photo, as if she had not seen or heard anything at all. I then tackled her to the ground, swiping the photo away from her.

"STOP IT YOU BITCH! JUST STOP IT!" I screamed.
"You can tell me to stop all you'd like, but there are 378 other people participating in this ritual. No matter what, you can't stop us!" Avery explained. "All they have to do is smear their own blood on that same exact photo of Dan, tear the photo in half and put the photo in the fire at the same exact time. Before midnight, Daniel James Howell will have taken his final breath, in the most gruesome way."
"But I just stopped you from doing that!" I responded. "I thought with these type of rituals everybody had to do the exact same thing at the exact same time in order for it to work!"
"There are so many people involved, I don't think it will make much of a difference." Avery sneered. "You're just wasting your time."
"I don't think so..." I responded.

Just then, the door swung open and officers barged in.

"FBI! PUT YOUR HANDS UP IN THE AIR!" The man exclaimed.
"What the hell?" Avery asked.
"REMAIN SILENT!" The man exclaimed.

As FBI agents were arresting Avery, my dad came running in and helped me up. I started lumping in pain.

"Are you alright?" My Dad asked.
"Yeah..." I moaned in pain.
"I told you not to do that." Dad said.
"I wanted to make an entrance!" I joked.

"What's your dad doing here?" Avery asked angrily.
"My dad got promoted to work with the FBI now." I explained. "And I guess you can say this was his first successful mention."
"YOU'RE AN IDIOT!" Avery exclaimed. "If you all knew this the entire time why didn't you arrest us all right away?"
"Because we needed proper evidence" I responded, waving my phone to her.
Avery's jaw dropped, her eyes widening. "I thought they broke that phone!"
"They broke a phone, not MY phone!" I responded.

Avery let out a loud grunt before the officers finally took her away. My Dad looked at me and smiled.

"So is everybody else getting taken care of too?" I asked.
"Yep." Dad nodded. "This is gonna be a long night for this town."

I then felt a stinging sensation on my arm as a piece of glass was stuck in my arm. My dad then looked at me and smirked a smile.

"Let's get yourself checked out, shall we?" Dad asked.
"Sure." I nodded.

Dad then helped me out of the house and drove me over to the hospital. As he was driving me through the town to the hospital, police and FBI were everywhere, cuffing people and putting them into cars. I didn't feel in the least bit sorry for them.

Justice was finally being served. Not only for me, but for Dan and Phil as well.

Hey guys! Sorry for my lack of writing! But I really enjoy this major plot twist I put in. I didn't even really think about it until today and it fit together pretty well!

More to come soon!
