Chapter 28

[Kim Taehyung's POV]

Ding-dong...
Ding-dong...

The bell rang when I was busy playing overwatch in the living room. I paused the game unwillingly and then went to the front door to see whoever the person that was rude enough to disturb me during my sacred time.

Once I opened the door, I saw a man with a dark hair and a pale skin standing by the doorstep. He got his arms crossed over his chest while his fingertips kept on tapping constantly.

"Where's Ha Neul?" He snapped quickly as soon as he saw my face.

"She's not home yet." I replied honestly.

"Is she always this late?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Not really." I tilted my head slightly, wondering what could make her come home this late. "Is there something wrong Yoongi-ssi?" I looked at him as my eyebrows furrowed.

"I was just thinking about taking her to the hospital to meet his father because he finally gained his consciousness yesterday." He explained briefly.

"Gained his consciousness?" I repeated as my eyebrow was slightly raised since I got confused.

"Yeah he was in a coma for a week. Didn't she tell you?" Yoongi asked back.

"Uhm no." I replied softly.

"Oh maybe she forgot?" He murmured.

Well I don't think she forgot but since we barely talked in the past weeks of course she didn't tell me about this.

I sighed in silence as the guilt once again taking over me for avoiding her back then.

"Well then, maybe I'll just come back some other time." Yoongi turned his gaze to his fancy wrist watch as he checking the time.

"I'll let Ha Neul know you came over." I nodded as I gave him a slight smile.

"Thankyou, Taehyung-ssi." He said before turning around.

I watched his back slowly getting away, but before I could close the door something popped up inside my head.

"Wait!" I called him when he was only walked a few steps away from his former place.

The word just slipped out of my lips without my intention and I couldn't just take it back.

"Hmm?" He turned his head, looking confused.

"Uhm if you don't mind, can I come with you?" I said carefully, thinking about the idea that came out of nowhere which was me being so eager to meet Ha Neul's father so suddenly.

"Come with me to where?" He raised an eyebrow as he eyeing me from head to toe.

"The hospital? Uhm I think I could give him a visit?" I bit my lower lip hesitantly, slightly afraid by the look on his face.

"You sure you wanted to visit the man who harmed you once?" He scoffed.

"Yeah. Why not." I shrugged.

"Well if that's what you want, get in the car then." He turned around as he pushed the button on the key to unlock his car.

"Right, just let me get my jacket first."

Yoongi knocked on the door before he slid it open. He entered the room as he bowed and I followed him from behind.
