[Ha Neul's POV]

New York,
December 24th.

"Don't worry, Ha Neul. You'll do great." A guy in a white tuxedo tried to encourage me since he could see how my expression changed right after I peeked behind the curtain.

My stomach suddenly felt weird as if its contains started to flipping around inside. But the guy's word calmed me a little as I tried to take a deep breath and let it out slowly in the next second.

"Thanks, Henry." I looked at my senior who happened to be my partner for tonight's event.

The event was almost done. The closing will begin in a couple of minutes and that succesfully making me nervous since I'm the last one to perform, along with Henry of course.

"Just relax and do it exactly as you practice." The guy added as he smiled, and then he pulled out his violin from its case and started checking on it while I just nodded.

Seeing Henry so calm like there's nothing really important going on, I grabbed my sheet music and drowned myself in it. I scanned at the last bar of the score as I waited in the backstage when someone called out my name. So I looked up and saw one of the staff approaching me.

"Someone sent this to you." He shoved a wooden box into my hand.

"Oh? Thankyou..." I took it with eyes full of wonder. "Who was─"

"I don't know, but the mailman was so persistent." The staff rolled his eyes before he walked away, leaving me behind even before I could finish my question.

My eyebrows creased in confusion as I pulled the ribbon that wrapped neatly around the box. I opened the lid and saw a miniature of a piano that made out of wood was lying inside the box.

My fingertips slowly brushing against the body of the pretty thing that I just received. Because there, the capital letter of T and H were engraved with a plus symbol in between them.

A wide smile formed on my lips as I lifted the miniature and found a card underneath it. Hastily, I took the card and read it. Only two words were written on the card but that was more than enough for me to gain my confident and courage back.

Good Luck! -V

The show is over and the audience had went home earlier. Me and a couple of colleagues were busy packing up our stuff since no one would want to be here for too long. It's Christmas eve after all.

"We go first guys, Merry Christmas." Amy, one of my senior bid her goodbye before leaving the room, followed by his boyfriend Henry.

The others responded with the same line before one by one disappeared from our waiting room. Me and Cindy were the last persons who left that place.

We parted once we exited the building cause her boyfriend already waiting. I returned the wave that my classmate gave a while ago before she disappeared into a mob of people on the street.

I sighed as I pulled out my iPod and plugged my earphone, making friends with the music so I have company at least until I reached my apartment. I didn't leave in the dorm anymore by the way, since my uncle insisted with no particular reason.

It was Christmas eve and I couldn't go home to Korea because I must attend my campus annual concert, which is my first to take part in the event so of course I couldn't miss it.

But the other thing that I missed so badly is Taehyung. It's been a few months since the last time I saw him in person. He haven't called me since yesterday and I suddenly felt thirsty for his voice.
