Chapter 26

[Taehyung's POV]

I snapped my eyes open when my favorite smell suddenly filling up my nostrils. I stood up immediately before I rubbed my eyes and then walked outside of my room as I yawned.

"Oh you awake? Good morning!" Ha Neul greeted me the moment I entered the kitchen.

"Morning. Why are you making so much food this morning?" I glanced over some various food as I walked passed the dining table to grab a glass of water by the counter.

"You have a match today and I can't come because of school so I decided to make you your favorite dish." She replied as she gave me a tight smile.

"It's just a pre-elimination. Not a big deal." I shrugged as I sat at the counter while chugging on my water.

"It's still a match." She shrugged. "Anyway you have to eat a lot before you go, okay? I don't want you to loose." She said as she brought the dishes and set it on the dining table.

"You can count on me." I smirked unintentionally as I followed her and then sat myself at the dining table.

"Oh is today someone's birthday?" Namjoon walked in as he amazed by the dishes on the table.

"No." Me and Ha Neul replied in unison before we both chuckled.

"Taehyung has a match today, so I wanted to cheer him up." Ha Neul explained.

"Ah I see. Good luck on your match then, bro!" Namjoon smiled as he patted my shoulder before he took a sit right beside me.

"Thankyou." I chuckled. "Can we eat now? My stomach is screaming." I continued as I rubbed my churning stomach.

"Yeah, of course. Eat up. Namjoon Oppa too." Ha Neul motioned with her chopsticks as she smiled.

The three of us started digging on the food in silence before Namjoon's phone suddenly ringing inside his jacket pocket.

"Hello?" He took the call without leaving the room. "Oh Hoseok-ah, what's up?" He grinned.

I stared at Ha Neul who sat right across me and found out that she was already staring back at me with the same look. We were eyeing each other in silence for a brief moment, pretty sure that we've heard that name before. But the both of us just remained silence while continued munching on our food.

"Alright, I'll let you know when I finished my work. See ya." Namjoon said before he hung up the phone.

"Was that Hoseok?" I finally asked him a moment later.

"Mhm." Namjoon hummed without looking at me and just continued eating.

"Wasn't he the one who stole your girlfriend?" I said slowly and my eyebrow raised as I looked at him.

"Ah about that." Namjoon swallowed what's inside his mouth. "She was actually cheating on the both of us. We're just victims and we sudddenly became close after we found out about that. It was funny actually." Namjoon added as he chuckled.

"So you both got two timed?" Ha Neul asked in surprise.

"Exactly." Namjoon scoffed.

"Woah. She's a snake." I tilted my head slightly.

"Yup. No doubt." Namjoon nodded before he grabbed a glass of water and finished it.

"Well, it's her lost. You deserve better, Oppa." Ha Neul nodded as she smiled.

"You're always so kind Ha Neul-ah, wanna be my girlfriend?" Namjoon smiled widely as he looked at Ha Neul playfully.

"Yah!" I unintentionally yelled at him with mouth full of food while Ha Neul just chuckled.
