[Author's POV]

The air pierced his exposed skin, but he seemed to feel undisturbed by the cold feeling. His footsteps were still swinging, taking him to a place he was longing for.

He stood by the river, staring up at the dark gray sky that looked exactly like his frantic mind at the moment. Dozens of heated breaths he threw away as if it's showing off how tired he was.

No moon nor stars adorned the dark sky that hanging above him, which makes him covered in solitude and emptiness. Although in fact he was a little bit disappointed, he just stayed there and resigned.

Maybe nature also wants to take a break from the hustle and bustle of this world. He thought.

Taehyung pulled his phone out, just so he could see his moon. The smile that he captured greeted him as soon as he unlocked the phone and it successfully made him feel slightly better.

For others, Ha Neul might be the sky. But for him, Ha Neul is the moon. Because the moon sees right through your soul. Because the moon is a friend for the lonesome to talk to.

Ha Neul is a moon and had a dark side which she never showed to anybody. And Taehyung was glad that he once slipped around behind her and saw it all.

He remembered the moment when the girl had not realized how much he loved her. He had fought so hard that she finally fell into his arms. But there are many things that must be fought in this life, and he doesn't know how long he will last.

Taehyung opened up one of the apps that he has on his phone and then sent her a quick message.

Me:

"Hello?"

Taehyung lips curled up the moment he heard the sweet voice of his girlfriend filling up his eardrum.

"How are you?" He asked as he smiled slightly.

"I'm doing fine Tae, how are you?" She replied.

"I'm not bad." He sighed silently.

"But not good either, huh?" She said as if she knew what's inside his mind while Taehyung just sighed.

"Isn't it night in there? Why aren't you sleeping?" Ha Neul asked and there was a hint of worry in her voice.

"I can't sleep." He answered shortly.

"Why?"

"Uhm... I've been thinking about a lot of stuff lately." He muttered hesitantly.

"About what? What time is it in there?"

"4am."

"Tae you should get some sleep. Aren't you tired?"

"I am. But more like... mentally? Maybe that's why I can't sleep?" He raised an eyebrow as he forced a chuckle.

"Baby what's wrong?" Ha Neul mumbled softly, clearly worried about her boyfriend's condition.

"Family situation..." He sighed under his breath.
