It was awkward, but both were trying so hard not to run away like they always do in the past. The cold air, the silence, and the memories of the past. All were mixed together as they lingered around their idle figure, whispering on their mind in a sorrowful melodies.
"W-where did they go? No wait, where did everyone go?" Ha Neul broke the silent as she turned around a few times to see where their friends might went, but she found no one was around.
"I don't know, just let them be?" Taehyung shrugged as he stared into the darkness of the night sky that was reflected on the quiet river in front of them.
"What do we do now?" She sighed.
"Uhm wanna sit for a while? Well, just incase if they're coming back?" He rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Y-yeah sure." She nodded.
They sat side by side on the grassy ground, trying not to feel nervous but both failed miserably as the awkwardness wrapping their body along with the cold air.
"I heard you're moving to America." Taehyung broke the silent a moment later.
"Well yeah." She nodded slightly.
"Will you ever coming back?" He said softly, trying not to sound dejected.
"I'm just going for college, of course I'll come back." She chuckled slightly, amused by his silly question.
"Huh? I tought... nevermind." He sighed as he cursed at Jimin inside his head for tricking him.
"Actually, I started to play the piano again." She said as she bit her bottom lip.
"So you're going to study music there? That's really great." He smiled as he looked at the girl beside him in full fascination.
"Well, only if I passed the audition." She chuckled.
"Don't worry, you'll do great." He nodded as he encouraged her.
"T-thanks, Taehyung." She let out a thin smile as she blushed.
It's been a while since he heard his name falling out of her beautiful lips and it suddenly sounded so angelic that he wanted to hear more.
"How have you been doing?" He muttered.
"I'm... doing fine actually. How are you?" She replied and they both knew that she wasn't completely honest.
"Uhm, not that good." He hummed.
"Why? Everything didn't go well with her?" She mumbled as she dropped her gaze to the ground.
"Her who?" Taehyung got his eyebrows furrowed as he looked at her.
"Your girlfriend, of course." She muttered.
"What are you talking about?" He asked cluelessly.
"Stop acting stupid, I know she hugged you in the back of the stadium after last year's final tournament." She rolled her eyes as she started to feel annoyed the moment that scene was playing inside her mind once again.
"Oh, you saw that?" He mumbled softly, which sounded more like a whisper towards himself but she heard it anyway due to the silnce and their very close distance.
"Well, I-I was just passing by on the way home." She lied.
"Oh." He hummed, but then realized about something else.
"Wait, It was in the back of the building, there's only a dead end. What were you doing? Climbing the wall to get out?" He lifted an eyebrow as he tried not to laugh.
